Gem knew that something was up, but she wasn't quite sure what. After all anytime she got put inside that big moving thing that went fast it meant a trip somewhere. She didn't know where she was going, but the fact that her diaper bag and grub were being brought meant that it would be more then just a little bit. She held onto her grub extra tight when the machine made its noise before it would move. Her mommy was sitting in the front with her holding onto a big circle that seemed to move the thing they were in. she didn't understand how it happened but liked seeing the trees and clouds through the window as they went really fast knowing that they were probably on an adventure.
Gem knew they were going far because she saw more trees then she had fingers and was getting a little bouncy so mommy tried to calm her down a little bet by stroking her hair. it took a little bit but eventually her mommy told gem that they were there as they pulled into a driveway and Gem could see a nice little house that was the color of the sky. Her mommy took all of her things out and carried Gem to the door ringing the bell.
When they got inside Gems mom set her in front of another toddler that she knew she had seen before but not sure where. As her mommy went to talk to a few other adults she crawled over and the two of them started to play not even noticing that there parents were leaving until the door closed loud and they looked over. The little raccoon girl started to cry a bit as an older person came over and picked her up. the grown up cooed and made sounds until the little raccoon started to look at the braided bit of hair hanging in her face and grabbed it.
"Ow no no Lerwin that isn't a toy," she said softly taking away the childs hand, "That's oda hair and you shouldn't pull on it."
When Lerwin was let back down she crawled back over to Gem. the two of them got along quite well and babbled and played with all sorts of toys, even though gem was never far from Grub. Eventually they were even given their bottles and felt that their tummies were getting full and then were gotten all burped to make them feel better. Oda stood up and went to the kitchen to clean up the bottles and get some diapers in case they needed to be changed before nap time.
Oda was only gone long enough to take the nipples off the bottles and put them in some soapy water, but when she returned the two little ones were nowhere to be seen. She started looking behind a few things in the house and under the table since it hand a big cloth that she knew the little ones liked to huddle under, but they were nowhere to be found. She started to panic and called out their names not caring that they wouldn't answer. She only did it because it made her feel like she was trying harder to find them. Time ticked on and she was looking under every piece of furniture and digging through every pile that she could find for the two of them starting to really worry about what happened and started to think she had to call the parents to ask for help.
Two hours had passed before Oda had to admit she went through every room and dug through everything she could think of and decided she had to call the parents. She went to the closet to get her cell phone out of her pocket and just pulled as the door was already slightly ajar. She was already getting her phone out of her pocket when she heard a slight sucking sound. Looking down she saw the two kids curled up partially under a coat. Gem had grub held in her hands sucking on one of its anttenai while Lerwin was just hugging gems tail sucking on a tuft of fur that was already quite moist.
Oda started to cry and laugh at the same time because of the situation and took the two toddlers and put them in a crib so they couldn't go off again if they woke up and started to clean up the mess she had made hoping she could finish it before the parents got home all the while thanking god that things didn't end up worse.
Aww! That was probably the cutest story I've seen written in a while, and the accompanying image is just fantastic. =^_^= <3 This was utterly precious. Thank you for sharing it here.

You are welcome. I just well it's my fursona in there after all. And I wanted a warm and happy and slightly silly story with her and a friend. I think I got it all to work out story wise and my friend/partner in this did an amazing image.
