Ok... so... here's a thing I don't think I've ever posted... or finished.
I really like this one. Perhaps even because it took a completely different direction than intended?
Apparently the sai file was created 16/11/2012... although I probably didn't get this much of it done back then.... probably took months to get to this point, lol. Did I have my tablet then? I don't remember. The work I did with a mouse got pretty darn good by the time I bought my Bamboo tablet, and then only because my mouse was failing me and I had saved up some money.
Curiouser and curiouser... any artists out there who've taken a waltz through their own gallery? It's really something. Just did it now to check if I'd already posted this gem, because I have this faint memory of typing Babar and Where The Wild Things Are into the tags section... must have been one day the internet decided to fail me, like one of those incompetent Imperial officers Vader had to deal with.
If my "new" 1-year-old computer hadn't failed me, I might never had stumbled back onto this treasure.
I can only wonder what kingly wisdom Babar is passing on to young Max.
