Awwww is all I can say! usually not one to fall for cute things but that is truly adorable XD. Agree that the shading came out well it looks fantastic, especially on her eyes (always had a love of nice eyes) and the bright colours (dunno, especially with the highlights they just really add something to it). The purple for the shading on the grey is a fantastic touch too, as are the little stripes of shade along the tail too.
No joke man, I vote this is probably one of your best; you just look at it and can't help melt XD. Nice one! Here's to Ziggy's mobile pillow! :)

Forgot to mention, but I completely reworked her colors for this :3 I suppose that might be what stood out to you~ Her hair color is the same, but I shifted her fur pattern more towards the pastel. In the end, it makes her look about the same, but it helped bring much more harmony with the palette I like to use for my clothing and backgrounds~ ^^
Also, I've been saying for a while now that the best picture I've ever done is almost always the most recently done one XD I'm always looking for the flaws in my artwork so I can avoid them the next time over. It's a never-ending process of improvement~
