Tribute for Christine Cavanaugh (voice of Dexter and many others).
Dexter's Laboratory was a huge part of my childhood. One of the reason I started to learn english, Cartoon Network was the only non-Hungarian/German channel we had.
I will always remember their pilot episode, where both Dee Dee and Dexter were repeatedly changed into different animals throughout the morning... Good times. Good times...

No no, cartoons have definitely changed and not necesarrily for the better. They just can't get away with things like they used to. Most of the jokes from are childhood would be considered to risqué for todays cartoons. There are a few like Gravity Falls, Regular Show, and Adventure Time, that are popular and well done enough to get away with things, but mostly cartoons today treat kids like they're idiots.

Cartoon Network also helped me with my English a lot. And Dexters Lab is among my most beloved children's shows. That very first pilot nailed it perfectly. And you nailed the keyscene perfectly. :3
