His parents set it up for him anyway. I take it you must have known someone who had tried that. I can imagine the toy train engine lighting up blue on the inside, then poofing out a bunch of smoke.

Thank you. And thanks for the new favorite. This is the one I put on FA and Weasyl because of their cub porn policy. I also put this one on Deviant Art as I generally don't put any of my porn stuff on that site.

I have some Lionel trains. They have not been played with in decades, just stored in a box in the garage, but they had gimmicks like a mountain underpass (left behind when mother & I sold the upstate property in 2003.) signals, etc. I need to test them to see if they work anymore.

I know this pic is old, but I can't help saying this. I get super emotional about model trains because I absolutely love trains and my own model trains are some of my most cherished possessions. Lately I've honestly been coming across a lot of pics and stories (mainly on FA, ugh) of furs abusing or destroying toy and model trains. It really hurts me emotionally to see that and seeing this pic is like a breath of fresh air. A cub loving his train and playing nicely with it. I hope he gets many years of enjoyment out of it. <3

Weathering is neat! It's good to know that you cared for your trains and appreciated them. Mind you, I'd rather not know if anything bad happened to them, but at least they were loved when you had them. I just had one of my oldest engines from my childhood burn out on me this Christmas season and it hurt emotionally. But, it was old and it gives me an opportunity to add a new engine to my fleet for the first time in years. I'll still keep the old engine though. I can't let that go even if it is broken.
