This year Ziggy the Christmas Rat learnt about the joy of sharing, so he shared a Christmas hamper with Ristin Raccoon.

A recap on Ziggy's story for latecomers:
On Christmas Eve evening, the Christmas Rat will scurry into your house and eat the crumbs you've left under your dinner table. If you've been good and leave nice crumbs (oatmeal cookies are a special favourite), he will leave a present for you under the table. (If you're naughty, watch out! He may leave you raisins instead.)

But what if you celebrate Yule instead of Christmas? The Yule Rat knows and he'll visit you that night. Leave him something nice, because Yule be sorry if you don't! (There is no shot of Ziggy as the Yule Rat as he prefers to go sky clad in that role which is his natural state anyway.)

I actually had to google what you were holding there. Was confused when I first saw it as a hamper here is what you put your dirty clothes in. Was curious what a first class hamper would be like. I see it's basically a gift box with gourmet food and drinks.

Yeah. I don't think we really have a term for what that would be called other than a gift box. None the less, always interesting to find those little language differences between countries.
