I drew this almost two years ago for my son's first birthday.. he will be THREE in January! (and I've since added a babygirl)

It's my little family. Chaotikat in the flesh.. with Mr.Cheekers and his birthday cake, Daddy and his son (I call him Boo, Booger, Boogie, Booboo, Boogerpants or Turd if he's being one..)

I suppose my son is a Couganuki, or a Counuki or something. Cougar x Tanuki.

My step-son actually watched me work on this. Originally I did not draw him in, I still feel weird using him in art, as he is not my son.. He said he wanted to be a boy, so I drew him as a boy. Then he was going to be a kitty. Then he said he wanted to be like Daddy; he wanted a yellow face and black arms.

I can just hear him in this picture, asking a thousand questions: Can I have cake? Why is the cake brown? Is it chocolate? Why is it chocolate? Why is the baby touching the cake? Can I have cake? Why isn't the baby sharing his cake? Daddy, Daddy, Daddy, I want cake!

I actually baked the cake as pictured, complete with that candle :-)
