since changelings are basically for a simple term a form of necromorph (like in deadspace) or something like that as they are spawn by placing abducted ponies into the egg sacks that get laid by queen chrysalis that changes them i would deduce that they could "see" and track other "dead" ponies by perhaps a pheromone scent or something just like ants and wasps do while also having a quasi hive mind being lead by their queen

she is the 'desendent' of flutershy and big mac, there are a few generations after not stated cause we wouldnt know them, its like this flutershy and mac have a kid, that kid got married and had a kid of its own and that kid was apple eden.or maybe shes the kid of the kid of the kid gaah head hurts anyway theres several generations between her and flutershy nad big mac

I do understand both the English Language and the passing down of Genetic Traits through the Generations. Unless each Generation gave birth to the other one in less than 25 years, 4 generations is not going to fit in 100 years.
That is in Human terms, unless you are counting Horse years. Horses sexually mature in 3 to 5 years and die in about 25 to 30 when domesticated, less than 15 in the wild.

the aproximate lifespan of a pony in equestria is never mentioned so far as im aware, however, given that vava changed the comics opener a little recently stateing this takes place 170 years after season 4, and 100 years after rarity 'died' and asuming that she died at a relativly old age due to her magical nature [90 since she was probly in her 20s in the show] as tot he breeding rate that too is never discused so vava can asume its anything they wish.
