Originally I used this an opportunity to improve the quality of my inking. While coloring I guess I got carried away. I still have a lot to learn about color, but I think it came out well compared to my usual fare.
Heh... it was a lot of fun trying to dogfight ships massively better than yours. That was half the fun of melee battles.
But, I doubt a game like that would fly these days, as the balance of the fleets was soooooo bad. Investors would insist it be dumbed down and demand all the ships fight the same way.
