Dave: Liz had the idea for this year's Prelude, and it was a blast putting it together. What if the Guards and Ms. Muliebral wanted to do something nice for Namah, and give her a chance to go Trick -or -Treating? And then we just had fun with it. Damon's character was inspired by tales Darz shared with us- distributing both candy and fear. The illustration doesn't really show it, but the arm holding the candy bowl is fake- so he can deliver a good jump-scare with his real arm to anyone reaching for the goods.

Liz: This idea was actually our very first Halloween Prelude idea, we've just been waiting until the right year to use it, and it came together quite well. Another point goes to writing down ideas in a little book.
