As a humongous Transformer fan, almost since birth, I feel confident in saying I probably have more than half of all the toys ever released in the US, and even some that weren't. One of my favorites is Transmetals 2 Sonar. She's a cute little bat with a shiny butt and a nicely complex transformation for her size. The only thing is, they sure did puts the ugly on the li'l critter's face. So, I decided to reimagine her as kawaii as possible.
Also, I hadn't known Sonar was a she at the time of drawing this. The bio on the back of her toy package had no gender pronouns, so the writers of the comic book took advantage of this and canonically made her female! Really!
All the TM2 tended to be rather ugly looking. Except for Black Archnia, I guess since her first toy was her as a Transvestite they decided to make her second toy actually look like a female. I support revisions like this to make her look more feminine since the toy was likely designed to be male as most TFs tend to be.

I don't take 'big chest' as implication of femininity otherwise Prowl and Jazz are both sporting Double D's. And I find most of BW's Basics have an androgynous look to them:
All Vehicons were weird in their design (in a good way) There is no telling what she might have looked like before the spark transplant. At the same time I liked that she wasn't a typical female build. Not all the male TFs have a standard design, so why should all the females have the hourglass figures?
