So by this time tomorrow (October 31, 2014), I will officially be married to my long-time mate, @BoreasArt. We've been together now for 12 years and 8.5 months. Same-sex marriage became legal in our state on October 6th, so we're finally able to become a legally recognized couple. I asked @SkunkJunkie to do a picture to commemorate the occasion, and he created this absolutely beautiful scene. I really love how this came out, and he put in way more detail than I expected, so I gave him a nice tip on top of the ludicrously low commission price.
As most of you should be aware by now, my furry persona is now Evan the Southern Fox Squirrel, and Bayson now has his persona as Boreas, a very sexy polar bear. Evan stands at 6'2" tall, while Boreas is a full 8' tall. This is why Evan is standing on his toes and craning his neck to be able to kiss Boreas. Also, as we're now going to be a married couple, our characters will have our actual wedding rings added to their designs going forward. They're not visible in this image as they're worn on the left hand; Evan's his hidden behind his new husband, and Boreas' left hand curves just enough to obscure it from view as he brings his squirrel in closer.
Heh, Evan can't stand on his own for too long (hence the cane leaning against the pedestal), but he wanted to for this moment.
