A part of this kinda resonates with me. Mother tends to try and shoehorn me into her idea of the 'perfect child' so she can brag to her friends. Looking forward to finishing my Bachelor's degree in Network security so I can get out of the house, send emails telling everyone how she fucked up and why I want nothing to do with her, and finally get out from under her. Only sad part is that I wont be around to see her ugly mug as she realizes that her so called 'parenting' drove off her only two bragging points.
