G4 Peru/Columbian Bow Tie with Ice Crystal

Custom Trade I accepted to make a generation 4 custom pony figure of generation 1 pony Bow Tie, in a mix of her Peru and Columbian exclusive traits.
Then a generation 1 Big Brother pony custom of Ice Crystal, with a horn added so he can fit the recipient’s canon of Ice Crystal being Lyra’s father.
My favorite G1 ponies are Bow Tie and Ribbons, so I really wanted a chance to make a Bow Tie custom for someone else~ and I’ve even set up my own project to gift myself a custom of Bow Tie.

Bow Tie- pony base is a generation 4 Twilight Sparkle in a full body repaint job in powder blue acrylic with a base coat of Gesso. Cutie Mark has the colors of Peru and Columbian Bow Tie, the purple being the outline color. Eyes were requested to be in the shape of Fluttershy’s. Painted in the color of Bow Tie’s eyes, a blend of purplish blues. Kept the horn on the pony because of Peru Bow Tie. All paint work sealed in Artists Varnish~

Mane and tail re-rooted in dollyhair’s nylong pink mlp hair in the color Tea Rose and saran Barbie hair in the color Foxglove Lavender. Hair tied in pigtails to match the original 80’s cartoon version of Bow Tie.

Gave the pony a Lolita outfit. Started with the sleeves on the front legs- gray wide ribbon with white lace stitched on the bottom hems, and pink bows.
Stitched the torso piece from a pink cotton fabric with a shiny lace embroider on the top, a bow stitched in the middle.

Hind legs- beige lace with pale yellow bias tape stitched on the top hems, with lavender ribbon bows stitched on the backs.
Skirt train- repeated the same shiny lace emroider and cut a hole for the tail to slip through with a yellow ribbon bow. Removable via snaps.
Matching yellow ribbon bows tied in pigtails.

Headband- cream bias tape with powder blue ribbon stitched on, white ribbon lace and the shiny lace stitched on each side, lavender ribbon bows stitched on the sides.

Ice Crystal- pony base is a cancerous generation 1 Big Brother pony with a generation 4 Princess Celestia horn mounted into his forehead to fit the recipient’s canon of Ice Crystal being Lyra’s father.
Full body repaint has a base coat of Gesso, and a hand-mixed custom blend of paints for the main body color. Blend consists of the acrylic pigments aqua, cloudless sky blue, pale neutral green and white.

Eyes and cutie mark painted in acrylics tried to stay true to original.

Mane and tail re-rooted in RetrodollUS’s white Frost Bite saran hair, some left over white hair from a BJD wig and the green stripe is Gooseberry nylon hair also from RetrodollUS.
