i have no idea really, its my first FPS really XD. its kind of a clone of battlefield, but as a free to play MMO and with massive maps. it lacks long term goal/accomplishment, but if you like shooting people it's fun i suppose! :v

Some believe next page is were they talk about, the issue that spike has, which is of liking rarity, but the way that the first/last page when and the way that a lot of similar stories and movies go about shy people(I suspect because authors thing torture is fun for the viewers) next page is where spike chickens out for a countless time ... or something else sudden happens preventing him from coming out and then he enters a downwards spiral of self pity and depression ... somethings happen for a big part of the story until around the end rarity understand by some other means how Spike feels and they possibly finally get together around the end of the comic/story. As a shy person some of the times, I recon that's believable since things with shy people often go that way irl ... or at least so I believe judging from the the movies and some personal experience. Such stories also keep the tension and the public going I guess, but I wish a lot more authors would sometimes exercise more creativity and break that circle ... concentrate more on the positive aspects of being a shy person and not the (sometimes) negative parts. I have really read only one or two stories where that wasn't what happened and it has still remained my all time favorite stories! I think they were both by the same author too. I don't care what others think or say about what's real or not and what stories are believable or not. I tell you what's STILL not real though ... talking ponies ... @_@ but we make comics, TV shows and all kinds of other arts about them ... Imagination ... is a very good thing ... real word ...bleh we get that all the time anyways and frankly it sucks more often then not... :( Whoever designed it, fucked up big time and should be fired!!! I understand perfectly well that in this story, things still have high a chance to be different, it's still too early, this story could be something completely different and it's unfair to make judgements based on one page only but I have seen the same thing over and over so many times that my hopes have become reasonably low as time passes. Just some of my thoughts and concerns is all.
PS: On a side note ... fuck Derpibooru and their twisted understandings of what art and imagination are... No one should be forced to restrain their imagination because of bullying and swarms of trolls! @_@ I know the people who need to understand this will understand it!

Personally I'm rooting for something like THIS but with rarity. Spike could be shy and still be heroic when needed for the subject of his affection/desire!

i think it's more likely he just waited for his erection to go down before going to rarity's. it doesn't look like spike really knows anything at all about sex, including that ejaculation is possible. although he must have seen stallions walking around with erections before in town, he was probably embarrassed about that too and hid his eyes. and he's clearly never asked anyone about erections for the same reason. he might even think getting an erection means something's wrong with him like a lot of young-teenage boys do.
i also think he hasn't seen any ponies having sex before, as sex is still seen as a private activity, and it would be just rude to do it in the streets. twilight wouldn't have had sex while spike was around either because she thinks of him as a child... and, well, because twi is probably too busy studying to find a stallion to mate her :P she'd take care of herself in private if anything at all.
as for the "mommy, where do babies come from?" question that every kid asks, i feel like spike would never have asked twilight--even after seeing the Cake babies--because he thinks her answer wouldn't apply to him since he is a dragon and she is a pony. either that or twilight got all flustered when he asked and explained in terms that were too technical and overblown for spike to understand :P the pony kids such as the cmc would probably have gotten much nicer answers to the question from their parents or siblings.
