A quick little color job I did before lunch. I ran across Ottoline Otter from the British TV Series Rupert Bear a while back and did a few sketches of her. Cute adolescent character who seems pretty bright. I don't know how many episodes she appears in, I only watched the first one. There isn't a lot of fanart of her around, but what there is usually depicts her getting tickled or tied up. She gets tied up in her first cartoon episode, so I guess she's been marked as enjoying restraint.

Thanks. I liked her when I saw her, but I always felt they drew her rather crudely.

One of my favorite scenes in her first episode is when she and rupert were bound. Her only complaint was that the ropes were chaffing a bit. She actually looked a little disapointed that rupert could get to the knot for their escape.

I can actually picture her during the scene going "What? No ball gag?"

Ah I remember Rupert, that show was played on Canadian kid stations. Would say surprise you haven't really seen it before but then again it's a British show, so doubt the US would play it.

It was played here, it may still be playing here. I stopped watching TV over 10 years ago, so I tend to find this stuff by accident on either youtube or through random fanart.

Well, it was made in 1991 until 1997. Then just reruns since. I believe for Canada that show was stopped aired back around 2004? I checked the Wiki and says it lasted in the U.S. kid's networks until 2013. The UK has been recently re-airing the show only 2 of their satellite/cable kid channels.

Well, I DO have my otter character Kyra. Despite her outwardly gothy and sexy appearance, she's a lot more like Ottoline than she'd want to admit.

I could not make this comment on Asuraludu's picture of a she-otter, as he blocked me.

I used to like otters, but lately I came to dislike them. I can't recall what caused such a change of attitude.
