how to get Flash Player to work on Linux Firefox so you play the flash games such as humbird0 and AvalOnX have made? I know this is a very helpful, supportive community and there has to be Linux users out there.  I am rather new to it so I don't really know where things are or supposed to be. All I ever see in FF is "Compressed Flash files not supported", so what do I need to do? I would really be grateful for a little step by step if you know how.

Adobe stopped supporting Linux. You have to use an older version (7 or 8, was it, IIRC?) or try the open-source version, http://www.linux.com/learn/tutorials/360557-weekend-pr...

HTML5 is superceeding Flash, so expect it to go the way of the cassette in a few years.

Cheers!

All of my games are made using Flash 8 (from 2005),
so just about any Flash player should be able to play them.

(whoops... this is a VERY late reply)
