I have a confession. Where everyone else loved Michelangelo and likened him unto the mascot for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, I always despised him! The cartoons did little justice to his character and instead of being the endearing comic relief he came off as an insufferable idiot that never shut up and since his voice was ear grading it didn't help... however in more recent years I've come to love Mike. I actually thank the TMNT movie for that.
In any case, when it comes to Mikey, as odd as it may seem I see him as the most traditional ninja of them all. Maybe not excelling in stealth, but essentially playing dirty. Mike's the wild card and uses several weapons and underhanded trick to best himself in combat, and not really being a real weapon expert like his brothers. (basically making up for the short straw he was drawn in the signature weapons)
I also see Mike as the most skilled in karate, using a weird mixture of Asian fighting styles and raving/break dancing to be a very imposing force in combat. He's actually a black belt, but chooses to wear the orange belt because he prefers the color... poor stupid Mikey...
