This guy here, Gray, has a major "kuudere" symptom, that is he is acting cool, distant and mean, but deep inside he cares about the others. He is just didn't know how to express it like normal people. Thus he showed it by the only one he knows, by being distant^^

That is if he accepts you in his world. Gray is not easily approachable. But you are right about one thing. Once he consider you his comrade, his loyalty is endless. And you get to see what's his true nature^^ (hint: he is quite childish about stuff he doesn't know about)
