It occurs to me only now that "missing" has two meanings, as applied here: "They're not there" and "They're not there, and that makes me sad". The former is true, the latter is not.
(I originally wanted to make this a 'cute' picture, but the face just insisted on being 'irritated' instead! I eventually gave up the fight and inked what was there.)
