i'm not to familiar with sonic lore so seeing the sonic like spikes at the back and the amy like plum of hair at the front i thought was sonic and amy's daughter

Come on Bb, giving us only 72 DPI to work with? XD

I'll probly give this a shot.

Also, for anyone who wants a good way to separate the lineart from the background, in Photoshop:

1. Select all, copy.  Go to "channels", add new channel, paste.
2. Go back to "Layers", add new layer.
3. Go to "Select" at the top menu, "load selection".
4. Set the channel to "Alpha 1", then tick the "Invert" box under it.  Click "OK"
5. You'll see all the black lines should be highlighted, just use your bucket tool set to a pure black color and click anywhere on the lines to fill in that selection.  This layer now has only the lineart on it, so you can delete the old layer the picture was on and draw directly underneath the lines now.

but it's a big size file :) the dpi is just a relative size.. (perhaps you forgot to click on "max preview" ^_^)

It will be great to see your version of it :) there's 4 days left yet :P

Yeah it's big, but I just like working at 300. It's big enough to not really matter though, I'm just messing with ya. I should have some time to do this before Friday. Wonder if you're gonna do anything for 2nd and 3rd place.

a little gloomy but that's an amazing coloration job, in fact i doubt have the skills my self to do so amazing job O_o ..great work :)
