I actually drew this a while ago, but I wanted to make a digital version of it before posting, but... I just wanted to let everyone know I was alive. Haha!

Made with Ink pens and colored pencils.... I know, I suck at colored pencils, but dammit I TRIED. X3

If I use colored pencils, it wouldn't look that as great as yours^^;

I don't know why you wanted to make this digital. No offense, but this is a better than any of the digital work you've posted. I honestly think you should try posting more traditionals, I bet you'd like the response.

Thanks! ^^ Well, I wanted to make a digital version. :p I'd put the two side-by-side as comparisons. There was stuff I wanted to fix, such as her eyes being a tad too large, or the fact that I can do water digitally much better. XD Kinda like in this: https://thenekostar.deviantart.com/art/Care-to-take-a-d...
Except that pic is nearly 2 years old, so I can do it even better now. XD Blurring the bg to create depth as well woulda been a nice touch.

Still, I plan to digitize it, but that doesn't mean I don't like this traditional one. :3

I think it looks just great the way it is. I know wha tit means to be an artist, so I just want to advise you to not make alterations. There's always that desire to fix this and change that, but this looks GREAT. Art teachers always offer the same good advice: "Never revisit your work, it'll only make you unhappy; instead, focus that energy on something new." In other words, if you see flaws you want to correct in something you've done, remember it and make something new and better.

EDIT: I don't want to sound like I'm telling you what to do, only offering you the same advice I've had given to me.

Thanks, I appreciate it! ^^ We'll see if my laziness overpowers my drive to redo it digitally. Haha! As I DO have other stuff I wanna do, but again, we'll see.

In my experience, no art teacher I have ever had has ever taught me anything, except how to bullshit my way to at least a C in something I know I could do better if allowed artistic freedom. X3 I DO hope that changes one day, as I have yet to have an animation class, which is all i've ever wanted to do as a career, but we shall see.

I don't disagree with you, because I wouldn't have posted it if I didn't like it, so I do, but i'm also someone who (thank goodness) never thinks i've reached my pinnacle for improvement. So we'll see what happens, and I hope that you'll see the post when I do it, or you won't see the post if I don't. Haha! Cheers~

Most people only use the three-star! In fact, it was so many that we defined those as not having a recorded number of stars in the database and converting it to three stars on display, saving ~100Mb.

We have over 10 million +favs and it takes 500Mb just to store them - with associated indexes for fast lookup it adds up to 1.7Gb of database space (and that's after such optimizations). It's about as much space as is taken up by submissions (metadata and writing, not the files). The only larger is unread submissions, which is pushing 3Gb (but is limited to the last 180 days, while the other two will grow forever with time and users). There's also 1Gb of keywords. Not quite "big data", but a lot to deal with!

And hence, why we can't fave comments, ...
GreenReaper

It's a feature I've considered adding ("X agrees with..."). It comes down to whether you want the actual comments that they might make instead of the agreement.

Right now it makes sense to have the comments. If comment threads start getting excessively long with people saying "I agree" then we might do something - but we're not a forum so I don't see that happening soon. There are only fifteen submissions with more than 300 comments, and fourty-four with more than 200. Journals top out at 400, except in one case where people were being silly.

Gotta say, sorta left-field, but I definitely like being here. :3 I originally just made the account to secure my name (So you can google 'nekostar' and it's always me. lol) but then I started posting, and i'll tell ya, I've been on FA forever and never had a convo with one of the admins.... except when a submission was getting banned. Orz.

Nice to see you guys actively taking part in the community. :3

Well, to be fair to them, I imagine they're usually pretty busy! Inkbunny is a smaller site - it's easier to have one-on-one conversations when you're not dealing with tickets all day.

Well yeah, I'm not hatin on FA at all, they're definitely a home to me. :3

And yeah, you guys are smaller... FOR NOW!!! X3 There are also implements I like, such as the customizable BG, etc. Nice stuff. :3 I was going to inquire about a mass 'unhide all' option, since there's a mass 'hide all' option. :p I dealt with it even though it took a while, but was wondering if that was in the works, or if it was too hard to put in? I can't imagine a use for it unless you use FA2IB tool though, so maybe no demand... X3

Yeah, we're not planning to displace FA anytime soon; but that's OK, as we're focussed more on the art than being a one-stop shop for everything furs want to publish. (We're also hoping to get sales back online at some point, but it needs more work. The age restriction is part of this, but we also think it improves the tone of the community - and art quality!)

That feature exists already! But we restricted it precisely because people did just that - uploaded a huge amount of art, then published it . . .  without checking that each submission was properly rated and keyworded for Inkbunny, adding pools, etc. That made a lot of members unhappy, mostly because they were seeing stuff that they shouldn't. It can still be enabled for users in specific circumstances.

Aye! Age restriction is always important to me! lol. One of the main reasons I came here. DeviantArt always upset me with that. Their 'adult' tag is meaningless in some cases. lol

I see! I'll admit, some of the tags for SOME submissions didn't transfer, while others did, so at first I was okay with it so that I could tag everything properly, as well as label them for maturity etc. So I see the reasoning. ^^
