Dr. Robotnik was in the middle of ordering a pizza when he discovered halfway through the conversation that he's in the middle of the harlem subway. This is yet another reference to the 1970's Ralph Bakshi film, Coonskin where I place Dr. Robotnik in the role of the Mafia Godfather and Scratch, Grounder and Coconuts as his drag queen sons. Unless you've seen the movie however you likely wouldn't understand these references.
