I'm uploading my Charmy Maze game here since DA took it down as well, sorry I haven't made any updates since 2011 so still the same build from SAGE 2011, sorry!
All Sonic characters are copyright to SEGA and Sonicteam!!
I finally got to play your charmy maze for the first time! I can't believe how much work went into this. i'm beyond impressed. What program did you use to make this? How long did it take?

Thanks man, actually this game is a remake of one of my old fan games that I made before, the old version was complete but suffered from many issues like bad graphics and MIDI music, I used MMF2 for all my fan games it's easy to use and there's a great Sonic engine for it that most fans games use it called "Sonic Worlds" you should check it out it's almost as good as Retro Sonic engine!

So they use Sonic worlds with MMF2? I'll have to make a note of that! But definately impressed by this, you animate the sprites and the scenery beautifully. My only complaint is that the boss fights go on for way too long. You'd wanna give them at least half that amount of health in future

Yes it's called MMF2 (Multimedia Fusion 2) which is an updated version of GF (The Games Factory), Sonic Worlds is the one you see a lot in SAGE fan games like Sonic Before The Sequel (which I still don't understand all the braise it got) but yeah people give credit for the creators of these games, while they deserve some of the credit for doing all that work I believe most of the credit should go to Sonic Retro member, whom I forgot his name, who created Sonic Worlds engine for doing such a great job, he even coded every single platform and hazard from the original Sonic games 1, 2, 3K, and CD including a fight with Mecha Sonic from Sonic & Knuckles within the engine!
Thanks I'll remember that about the boss fights next time I make an update if I ever find time for that, if you have any other notes let me know but know that I suck at designing and programming boss fights for I'm not very good at programming, it sucks how I never finished it I had ideas for the next levels, the third level should be a Casino one with flippers and other stuff to avoid and the boss fight is Mighty, the fourth is a Starlight kind of level and the boss fight is Espio where he disappears, the fifth level is in Eggman's base where lights are out and only a glimps of light surrounds you and the boss fight is obviously Eggman, the final level is a secret!

The biggest Genesis ROM as far as I know is around 2MB and that is Sonic 3 and Knuckles (as in 2 games in 1) I believe also Sonic 3D Blast is around that size, there are some unofficial hacks out there that are bigger in size like Ultimate Mortal Kombat Trilogy but they don't work on real hardware, I'd say more like a SNES or GBA game in size, I'll see if I can finish it sometime!

I don't think any GBC game ever went to 1mb but I could be wrong, I know NES, MSX, GG, SMS, GB, GBC, NGP, NGPC, WS, WSC, Ataris 2600,... etc are usually (if not always) less than 1mb in size!

Yes I'm talking about the roms, well I don't know much about Pokemon but if I'm to take a guess I'd say it's a GBC game, I really don't think GB games can go up to 1mb anyway!

I can imagine, Pokemon games have been one of the highlights for Nintendo's library, the budget is always big and thanks to Pokemon most of Nintendo consoles been hacked and had emulators!

I still can't believe the makers of Robopon used gen1 Pokemon graphics though...and most of the sprites and overworlds...I eman I get jumping on the badwagon but jeesh...also thanks to the roms and emulators for pokeon we got other games available on roms now too.

That's what I meant, I'm not a Pokemon fan so I don't really care for Pokemon games but thanks to them all Nintendo consoles were either hacked to play Roms on them or had fully working emulators for the same purpose and that's really good!

Uh not quite, R4 can't run GBA Roms unless you have a Ez Flash in which case it won't work on a DSi but a DS lite, I do that, as for 3DS Roms you need a Gateway not an R4!

Sorry to hear about your DS lite and now you know, DS lite can run GBA roms using Ez Flash 3in1 card, DSi however can't rom GBA roms (not unless you get one of these special and expensive cards like Supercard 3) as for the 3DS it can run regular DS roms using R4i or just about any other flash card as long as it's on firmware 4 or below and get's a costume firmware, as for running 3DS roms so far no emulator ever was released (despite what you may read somewhere) but you can get them to run on a 3DS if the firmware was 4 or below and using Gateway flash card!
For emulators we got DS emulators but no DSi or 3DS emulators yet!

I can safely say that the lack of a 3DS emulator has nothing to do with the fake 3D effects or even the motion (though emulating motion is always a drag but it's been done before with the Wii and Android being both emulated) but it's related to the firmware being hacked only recently!
