And here's one of my little indulgences, my DMPC for the Romverse game: Derek Lykos, aka Wolfpack.
The child of an overprotective mother in a very rural area, Derek never had any actual friends growing up, which didn't change much after he started going to school. Not that he cared, as he had all the friends he ever wanted on his own: himselves. As far back as he could remember, Derek would talk and play with imaginary versions of himself, and in time these became more real, no longer existing in his imagination, but manifesting visually, and then corporeally. At first he kept it a secret, only using his duplication powers in secret to do his chores rapidly, or do his homework and goof off at the same time. But around his fifteenth birthday, a car crashed right in front of his house. He rushed out to see if he could help, finding the driver trapped under the car, its weight slowly crushing the life from her. Having no choice, Derek called out as many of other selves as he could and together, they wedged the car enough so they could pull out the woman and save her life. With his powers revealed, it was only a matter of time before people from A.E.G.I.S. and the Division of Paranormal Information visited the family home and offer a tuition at Claremont Academy.
A natural-born Paranormal, Derek has an ability known as Quantum Duplication, allowing him to literally be in multiple places at the same time. Whenever one of his duplicates is lethally harmed, it vanishes as its waveform collapses.
He's easy going, and has learned to enjoy making friends other then himselves, and is unsurprisingly quite fond of multi-tasking. As Wolfpack would put it, "I feel like I'm wasting my time if I'm doing anything less then three things at once."
