The main purpose of this W.I.P. was to get the shape of his head right. The only reason I colored the first image is because I wanted to make it ( hopefully \ painfully ) obvious who the character is supposed to be.
I was actually rather happy with how the topology turned out. There's not a single triangle. ^.^ This was the first time I was able to get the ears and nose half-way decent. The scar turned out to be a little more work than I anticipated, but it wasn't too bad.
Since this is my first real attempt at a complete character, I decided it would be a good idea to write out my plan of attack for the rest of the project:
1. Head Mesh 2. Head materials and fur 3. Body mesh a. Torso b. Arms/Legs c. Clothes 4. Hands and Feet 5. Clothes/Fur Materials 6. Rigging a. Face b. Body 7. Final Scene
My goal is to try and finish one main section a week, although I am anticipating 3 and 6 to take longer.
As this is still, obviously, a W.I.P., please feel free to offer constructive criticism. I'm still new to this, so any input you can give would be very much appreciated.
