All the English I know I learned from Sesame Street and listening to 80's hit music. I was speaking English at the time I went to elementary school, and it was self-taught, without any encouragement or outside help. Guess the "S.S." show wasn't bad for our generation... :3

now i would love to see the average TODAY'S kid learning HUNGARIAN in teh same fashion you did with english in the 80's "without encouragement ,and self-.taught"

Uh! Hungarian is amongst the languages, that are harder to learn, not like English. But I guess it's easier then Chinese, or Russian, or Arabic, because there I have to relearn the alphabet too. Thanks to Fate, that we didn't had to learn to write with runic stuff called "rovásírás", because that would over complicate the Hungarian language even further a few steps.

I am having an affinity toward learning languages, that's why I was able to learn them (German too) mostly by translating songs from my childhood. Even today, I am yearning to win the lottory, just to be able to quit my job, and have free time. Not sure about the many things, that I would do, but learning a few extra languages would be on top of the list, because I would have all the time in the world to do it.

damn those translators confusing and mismatching 3rd persons with causal particles "que van a hacerme? (WHAT are going to do to me?") x3
