Vice being a powerful being, and one of death, he is very intimidating. His eyes have a glow to them, but there is also a beauty about him. When he appears, things are never good. He is practically death, but he is not a bad guy. On rare occasion, he will take time off and visit with mortals, learning about them, laying with some females. Just trying to live a normal life, something he has not done since early in his own life.
Vice never started out as this death figure, he was originally planning on being a librarian, he loved to read both stories and scientific information. He was a book worm, had a girlfriend, had a normal life. But his life changed drastically and due to those actions, it resulted in him taking the title of death for his realm. He keeps a silence about him, both his opinions and his own desires. Desire that make him wish for a normal life, he will never speak them, he is too loyal to his masters. The things he has seen, the things he has held back, building for years, but he knows the fate of so many.
There is an alluring appeal to Vice. He is attractive and when he is on a break, he is very kind and can be a goofball. These days are very very rare, once in an age. He is still the same old Vice, a bit of a bookworm when he is not using his triple scythe to reap souls or guard them in the zone of silence.
This allure often is shown when he does appear to someone. He is spooky with his glowing eyes and ability to fly. Often when he appears to someone, he has something to say about their death, or it is a special death as he has to watch their soul personally. If he appears without his weapon, it is very special. Though the allure of his form, he is both attractive and fearsome, as death should be. The alluring silence that follows in the eternal night, is a restful period where one is protected by the guardian.
The silence says it all.
I really loved this piece. I did want something more, but the mood held true and love how the artist did the figure, which is the most important subject of this image. The mood being calm and silence, it is so nice it attracts you, and silence meaning both quiet and death here. Thanks again to Amorpheus
