I just had this mental image pop into my head where the rest of the pack shows up for various reasons('need help with my homework', 'we'd planned on hanging out today', 'returning something'), only to stop mid-sentence, pull up a chair, and just enjoy the view.
And then, when the two turn around and see the crowd behind them, and ask what they're all doing there, they just respond 'We heard there was cupcakes to eat', completely innocently.
