A man's curiousity gets to him, after he heard stories about the forest named Foxwood neighboring the town. People told tales of magical festivals and wild parties thrown in that forest, while others told more scary tales of ghosts and monsters. All of the tales had one similarity, however: they never leave Foxwood.
One day, the same man decided to see if these tales were true or nothing more than fabrications of the townfolks' imaginations. Hours of searching for hints of ghosts or monsters did not yield any results, other than grass, moss, forest critters, and of course trees.
The man decides to mark down that his findings was right, that such a tale was disproven and began to offer a logical explination to the folktale to himself...until he started to hear the telltale noise that he wanted to hear. Of course, it could be a sheer coincidence.
To his surprise, he finds a gathering of foxes, but not just any foxes...they were anthropomorphic, and cartoon-like in appeareance! Keeping a safe distance, he records everything he can, excitement running through his mind. He was not only disproved, but with something that broke the notion of reality...
He had to tell everyone what he found. He made a break for it, disregarding that he may have caught the awareness of the foxes...
Running through the forest with an ecstatic look on his face, it is quickly halted when he encounters a fox that loomed over him. It too looked excited to see him, offering him a big hug. The man, of course, tried to run, but that proved useless as the fox stretched his arms beyond his normal reach to grab the man into the tight hug.
The man tried to punch the fox a few times, but it proved useless as it just sank into his face. He gasped in astonishment as he sees himself, his body taking on new form...
He too is another victim of the Foxwood tale, now living among the foxes of Foxwood.
So yeah, I haven't done any kind of writing for ages plus I was in a rush to type this out before work (lack of rhyme, could have done better but yeah time constraints, etc.). It's more about the image anyway. :Op
Of all of my characters, Ein has not had much love. Which is a shame, because Ein is an amazing fox. He is relentless when it comes to making you into a big huggable fox, and by that I mean any method or any opportunity he can think of he will turn you into a toon fox. Soft as a marshmallow too.
This image really tipped the scales, reaching 804 MB of RAM at peak and using an astounding 164 MB of hard drive space, this has to be literally my biggest image yet. In fact this one gets the award for having the most layers in it as well, all at an original huge resolution. The grass was rendered by hand, since I don't have the luxury of making brushes that have any shape I want in SAI.
I hope you like.
PS: If I find a place to upload the fullres versions, I will.
