Character Description
Tamias the Chipmunk (Full Name Tamias Orenberg), is a clever chipmunk backed up by his wit. He is peace loving by nature with a complex personality shaped by a not fully understood past and a forgotten childhood. As the Chieftain of the Chipmunk Kingdom he is faced with the daunting task of being the spiritual leader of the kingdom and being at the forefront of the battle to stave off increasing threats posed by a villainous organization known as the HSO. Like most chipmunks trust has to be earned. However to his friends he is very playful and affectionate. He is also very cheeky as well. Personality
Tamias's personality is multifaceted and complex. But there are basically two sides of him. His public front is bold, orderly, charismatic, and witty. The public front hides the more tender true self embattled by a forgotten past that occasionally haunts him. This tender side also brings out his compassion, heart, and affection esp. to those he holds dear.
Likes/Dislikes
Tamias likes are being with his close friends which he regards cherishes as his family. He is also inquisitive exploring new things. He also loves chocolate chip cookies. His forgotten past instills a great detain of abuse a strong fear of dark places, restraint, and even the most routine medical procedures.
Background/History
Tamias has no memory of his childhood. His earliest recollections are at age 15 of being adopted by two human guardians and cared for by them in the American Remnant in Normany, France. When the HSO took over France he was sent to the Chipmunk Kingdom where he has lived since. He embraced the chipmunk culture and spirituality. His bridge between human culture and chipmunk culture landed him a career as a diplomat. Eventually he became the Chieftain of the Chipmunk Kingdom spear heading the efforts to stave off HSO threats bring piece between humans and animals.
Relatives/Family
It is unclear to Tamias who his blood relatives are or were. Though there are clues that tie him to Jerry Lee and Phillip Lee predominate chipmunks from the past. Tamias regards his close friends as his family.
World/Setting
Tamias's world is a distant future Earth which rose from the ashes of a great cataclysm that wiped out most of humanity and gave rise to sentient animals. Even though humans have recovered from the set back both humans and sentient animals compete with each other for resources. Currently the two global powers shaping the world are the Chipmunk Kingdom and the Human Nations of Europa.
Body
As with most chipmunks, Tamias is of small-medium stature with a sporty, flexible, body that is designed for speed and agility. Ears are perky and acute to even the slightest sound. His reddish brown eyes are lively and expressive. Powerful legs aid in speed and agility. Articulate hands move with feminine grace. His colors are deep rich browns with sherbert mask and muzzle chest belly naval and loins. Bold black and white stripes run down his back.
Clothing
Like most chipmunks Tamias wares Native American like tribal gear. His loin cloth features a complex vividly colored pattern. He adorns his body with feathers and gold jewelry encrusted with precious stones. He is crowned with a chieftains head dress with many feathers each one representing a member of his harem. Like all chipmunks, he wears a necklace adorned with a Synergy Crystal a chipmunk's link to the powers of Tawa, spirit of the Sun.
Accessories
Tamias carries with him a retractable staff as his primary weapon. He also sometimes has with him a yucca leave whip, a spear, and upon occasion a synergy bow a bow and arrow set powered by the synergy crystal he wears. Also with him are various medicinal herbs to tend to wounds inflicted upon himself or others. A communicator that works much like a smart phone and personal identification is with him at all times.
