Giving Regards... [Request Art]

The Triplesome Troubles (Filtered and Unfiltered Version) [Collab Art]
set default image size: small | medium | wide
Max was making his way to Yure's one foggy morning as he eventually got to Yure and smiled. Happy to see his friend. That was when the two were interrupted as a canine who was white and looked to be fairly old looked at Max "We....Have news for you..." The canine said raspily in a sad tone. Max wondered at the thought and sighed deeply in hope as he was praying it not to be bad. That was when the canine pulled out a familiar staff that had a gold and red imprint with a gem on top. Devastated to once again see the very staff of that his precious father once welded, Max fell to his knees as his eyes filled a little with tears. "We...Found your father's remains this morning..." The canine said as he gave a saddened look. Feeling sorry for Max. "We even buried him next to your mother so...They could be together again." Max's tears began to fill even more as he heard the canine speak. So, with that. The canine pointed up to a mountain where a grave lay with another. "I'm...Sorry for your loss." With that, the canine waved a farewell as he walked out the woods. Yure approached Max and stroked his back "M-Max..." Yure said softly nearly feeling bad for Max as well. Max looked over at Yure with his tears now coming down his face "L-Let's...Pay my long awaited regards...Its what they would want..." Max said, his voice being very shaky as he put on some quick funeral like formal clothes. The two began to walk up the mountain cliff with the staff in Max's paw. As he tried to fight back the tears as hard as possible. When they eventually got to the top and by Duke and Athena Wicked's grave, Max places his Wicked Sword and holster down as he walked to the graves slowly. Collasping to his knees as he put down the staff. No longer able to hold back his tears as he weeped upon the memories and seeing the graves. Yure couldn't help but feel pure dismay for Max as he stroked Max's back "It'll be all okay..." Max just continued to cry as more tears came as the sobbing wouldn't end anytime sooner.

So at the time, I was feeling depressed and felt down. So I wanted to have my depression expressed like this as vent art. I must say though, I adore the way this turned out and love the way the tail was done too. So I can't thank people enough for the comfort they've given me since.

Ouch. Some kid on Sofurry said this picture has a lot of feeling in it. I did make some symbolism indeed.

The divided ground represents our inability to reunite with the dead. The barren land on our side is the sadness we experience for not having them around. The grassy land on the other side represents the condition of the dead (according to Plato, in Socrates' Apology, Socrates stated that being dead is twice as good as being alive, from the person's point of view). The fog is the mystery that surrounds death and the afterlife possibility. Notice that some clouds are between us and them, which means that our memory of them is fading.

It was also done for me. I still feel disturbed by Kiyote and Bresk.
