It's about an hour or so into nightfall with a crescent moon setting in the west, the forest was cleared out by a logging company a few days ago, and one angry raccoon is wondering where he will spend the night.

Sadly this is happening every day, destroying their habitat and the trees, the animals are staying homeless and thanks to all mankind!Great work and awesome message too!Congratulations!^^

I really like the mixed media effect of the stars and the moon. Looks like the stars are cutouts. How did you make the moon glow like that?

The stars are punch outs after the drawing was attached to card stock paper with a coat of black paint on the card stock. And there was a low wattage lamp behind the drawing, and barely enough light on the drawing to make it look like night. I had to take several shots, adjusting the lights, to get what I wanted.
For the crescent moon, the card stock was cut out behind the moon (It was tedious), and the moon left not cut out on the drawing.
