A shot of Kyra looking bored or perturbed. Between moving into a new house and work, progress on the next page has been slow. The first panel is also a complicated image with eight of my main student characters studying. Each character had to have their own ink and color layer so I could size them right. When I sketch, I rarely get my characters' sizes the way I want them with respect to the each other. So I end up having to re-size them in Photoshop. Anyway, keep Kyra company while progress crawls along.

I like the mouse next to her. :)
Not to slight Kyra or anything but is she
going to be in the story or is she just there as an extra.
Also take your time and get moved in proper.
It's always easier to draw when you're in comfortable surroundings. *DUH* :D

They'll both be in the story. Kyra and Parsippany both sit right in front of Chucky and Adam in physics, so it's hard for them not to be involved. But their lives will become more intertwined as the story progresses.

She looks bored but she turned out well Chuck.
The thing I love about your art is you actually draw your females the way real women actually look, i.e. chubby, average, or just about anything else. I'm glad you've created a world that isn't populated with females that look like they should be models like a LOT of comics do.

Thanks Bubba, that is something I always try to do. Of course the natural look for a lot of teens is very skinny and awkward, but I just can't make that look right, so I go with thick.

I like these characters. One grip I do have is how you have her tail while she's sitting. I'd think it was broken to have it folded behind her like that.

It's a big squishy couch that she's on, so her tail can sink in behind her. I see what you mean though.

Yeah I kinda got that but the squish can only do so much. Maybe find another position for it so it looks a bit more natural.
