Gem and I have apparently been cornered by a ... thing. Is it a squid? Some kind of alien? Or worse, maybe an alien squid? I'm not sure about this, it seems, but Gem is not liking this at all, and her strategy is "back away slowly, and hide behind Jennie." The world is full of adventure but also full of mystery and danger when you're a toddler.

It is, of course,

kammypup's goofy hat, which I've been told is a frog hat. Kammy's apparently dropped it carelessly on the floor at daycare where it will cause the most havoc. She's good at maximum havoc. Or ... MAYBE IT ATE HER! *gasp* :O

Art notes: This was entirely done in Sai with only a few vectors (the walls and baseboard). I remember now why I don't draw cloth diapers very often, and it's because plastic pants are difficult. And they're necessary, too.

Gem character is (c)

, and I hope it's OK that she appears here.
I guess the hat is (c)

kammypup, probably, and it's used with permission.
Jennie character and art (c)
