Leisurely (rhymes with "measurely") the seven-year-old two-toed sloth girl and her teddy bear Tarry are my entry for the FA tealovers group's mascot contest. Because what little girl of any species doesn't love a tea party? Also, tea is a great excuse for biscuits, especially those digestive ones you can dip in tea that have chocolate on them.
When I think of tea, I think of enjoying it in a leisurely fashion, sipping slowly and enjoying, and when I think of slow, I think of sloths. Not only are they actually quite cute, they're also expert at doing a great deal of nothing for long periods of time.
So here Leisurely is showing Tarry how to drink tea properly, according to a young sloth girl anyway: it looks like you sit up straight, hold up the saucer, and ... very slowly ... sip just a little ...
Art, and Leisurely and Tarry characters, are (c)
, and if they (or just Leisurely) are selected, the tealovers group has permission to use them all it wants.
(As it turns out, I didn't win, but I still like this drawing)
