Sonic was sitting in the living room, watching TV and eating a chili dog. He sighed contently as he finished, beginning to flip through channels when Shadow came downstairs, looking flustered and shy.
"Hey, honey, what's up?" he asked, blushing a little as well as he saw the ebony hedgehog.
"N-not much..." he replied, looking down and slowly sitting down on the couch. Sonic looked at him curiously, opening his mouth to say something but shutting it as Shadow began to speak again.
"S-Sonic..Y-you know how I'm usually the..dominant one in our relationship? A-and..it's somewhat...mainstream..?" Sonic nodded in reply, getting a little closer to him. Shadow cleared his throat before speaking.
"W-well...I-if we were to switch positions, a-and you wanted me to be submissive..." Sonic looked at Shadow as he spoke, tilting his head to one side when he had stopped.
"Yes?"
"I-I just want you to know..." Shadow blushed deeper, partially hiding his face. "I-I w-want you to k-know..."
Sonic quickly grew impatient. "What is it?" Suddenly he felt himself be pinned down roughly and felt Shadow's husky breath in his ear, making him shiver.
"I will kick your ass if you try to suggest it..." Shadow smirked now, a devilish look upon his face. Sonic looked up at him in disbelief as he playfully punched him in the arm. "You bastard!" he screeched, squirming under his lover. Shadow chuckled as he kissed the blue hedgehog sweetly, whispering to him softly,
"Well, mainstream's not all bad...~"
