The words slipped out of Squeaky-Pie's mouth, words Conk-Out didn't know how to respond to. Yet there they were. Despite his self-loathing, physical problems, and narcoleptic attacks, he found someone cared about him. He didn't expect it from his few friends and certainly not from the mildly sociopathic, frequently insensitive, often irritable Squeaky-Pie.
He stood there for a while, struggling to process the unexpected sentiment. It made him feel better for a little while, even if Squeaky-Pie spent the next half hour trying to throttle Riverbiscuit with a popcorn chain for pelting them with said popcorn while yelling, "Get a room, you two!"
