In truth, she's based upon another person's character, Jolly Jack's Sandy Bracken. So is Callooh (the dormouse from Disney's Alice in Wonderland, although he takes cues from Lewis Carroll's original) and, to a much lesser degree, Sneakalong (the Beagle Boys, although only as a consequence of his being a criminal).
