I'm honestly not sure what gave you the idea that this is before.. it's quite clearly been in chronological order from the start. It even states past memories of when he was in the hospital after being hit by the car while looking for the pink girl (who's name escapes me at the moment)

And i imagen with the comic being this widely popular, alot of people have alot of different wishes to see any number of the vast majority of characters together in various different situations ^^;
