I never know at what point I should upload the updated animation, I don't want to flood with updates for minor changes, but I'm a bit of a perfectionist and could end up going idle for months until I upload the final piece. I seem to be uploading a new version roughly once a week, this seems reasonable to me. As always let me know what you think. It may slow down if my work-rate drops for any reason of course.

I plan to fully render version 1.0. I may also upload the final version to a file host I would make this version safe for off-line viewing, the current version will only run on a networked computer even if downloaded, because it requires RSLs.

I've also found that panning the camera, ramps up the file-size. One animation "send dog" in cinematic mode totals 2.3mb alone, compared to 1.1M of the non-cinematic version. I'm still trying to decide if I like the inset video idea or not. Let me know what you think.

I'm disappointed in the "*jump in*" animation, it feels lacklustre to me. Will be working on it in the future to see if I can improve it. I am still trying to decide if I want to show a POV of inside his crop/gizzard. If I don't for this piece, my next project will certainly have that. Also did anyone spot his flame fangs? *grins*

I know some don't like the idea of digestion, as with all my work you are free to imagine what you please. In my case Mauros digests everything he eats, but if you want to imagine something else, I'm not going to be offended. It's not like we are planning to RP the scene, it's your fantasy, go wild!

I've now been keeping a change log so this is it. (Only major stuff gets added though)
0.3 -> 0.4

0.4 -> 0.5
> New under-development animation ("Say Ah" -> "Closer!" -> "*Jump In*")
> Reencoding of all videos to quality 8 and using subsurf modifier, horn colour fixed too!

Hmm, I'll keep that idea in mind. I wasn't really planning such a big change to it though if I'm honest.
