It was the night of her birthday, she hadn't celebrated such a thing in years, but Dez and Sano where adamant about it. They had decorated the great ballroom with ribbons and the like, had a small symphony hired. Sano had chose out an outfit for Dez and Ami, sowing it together himself. He had chose green for two reasons, she had affinity for nature, and she loved his green eyes. Dez had spent time practicing how to properly dance. They had hidden all this from Ami, with suprising success. The day of her birthday people where coming in from all around through the main door to the hall. This had gotten past Ami for she was playing a game in her and Dez's room. She had stopped to hear a loud knocking. When she opened the door Sano was dressed in his very best and handed her an orange box with a blue ribbon and she could hear music with a ruckus from downstairs. All he had to say was for her to get dressed and come to the ballroom. She was too curious not to find out what was going on. She had opened the box to find a beautiful green dress and slipped it on. She found a note from her beloved fox asking her to find him, and that he was wearing the same color as her. She was humming with excitement as she quickly went downstairs. The music and other noises got louder and louder. She was met with Kaito who smiled and leaned in to whisper happy birthday little sis and walk off. She had slowly walked in to the ballroom to find it filled with furs, humans, and all species alike. She was amazed and happy as she had seen a large banner wishing her a happy birthday in artfully written cursive. She could see a very large cake to one side of the room, a small orchestra on the other. She had entered the crowd, many a people wished her happy birthdays as she walked through in search of her lover. She stopped as she saw his bushy tail and long green coat. He had been looking out the window but with her approach he smiled and had held his gloved hand out to her. She had taken it and let him pull her close. He leaned closed to her ear and whispered "Happy Birthday, my beloved Queen" and given her a kiss. "Shall we dance?" he asked. She nodded and purred softy as they danced together in front of the large windowed wall. The stars shown brightly that night, it was a magical night, a night for a dance.....
