Vera is quite shy :P When she goes out on dates she normally is too worried about what she chose to wear or how she is presenting herself to the boy to really enjoy it fully. Though, when seeing Bobby, here, come to her house, this little encounter immediately started with her thinking about how much she apparently under-dressed :3

Telling a girl that "they look fine" is a terrible thing to do :I that's like saying "huh... you're adequate." I think a reaction would prove your point much better than a simple "you're beautiful." I'm thinking something like a stunned paused of silence, look like you're genuinely impressed and bewildered, THEN you say something like "you're beautiful" :3 it'll be much better than whatever the hell you're doing XD

That's not entirely true ;w; there's a matter of choosing a guy who is right from an array of dates -- there's also the matter of preparing for the date itself and getting over your nerves of trying to remain calm and not make an idiot of yourself. It's basically the same thing >w< it just depends on the circumstances of the initiator of the date :3

Sadly enough, it's the painfully shy types who think they don't amount to a hill of beans that are actually the best type. I had the same thing happen to me in that odd metamorphic time between K-12 and my late 20s. :P
