This ole Ozark Hillbilly is just having a hard time earning a living. Ain't no jobs around to speak of. And the Revenue agents busted up the still belonging to the feller he use to run shine to Memphis for. And his ole truck broke down, so he can't haul stones or timber until he kindly scrapes up the money to jury rig the truck and get it running again. If any ole junk yard part will fit, it will go down the road. A tie rod end is still held together with bailing wire.

Really. There’s a spot that affords just such a view when looking east. Nicely done. :-)

If it took only a nickle to go around the world, that ole hillbilly couldn't get out of sight. (an old saying we have in Arkansas)
In fact, the road, in one place, where it goes past our pastor's daughter and son-in-law's place looks identical to what's in the drawing.
