Flame and Serene were quite shocked about the news Kage told them as they ran towards the palace. The once quiet night had become of importance to Flame, especially since he really wasn't sure what to expect and the thoughts continue to pass through his mind. Serene was picking up on all of his inner thought and tried to calm him down mentally by talking to him about taking a trip out of the city for a few days. She started to describe the beach and the warm sand along with the ocean breeze making the scene perfect for Flame. He couldn't help but just smile as he only could think about Serene at that point.

The Protectors arrived at the Palace and were greeted by the City Guard. Four Gallades bowed and stepped aside while opening the palace doors to let them in. They went straight into the main hall where the Elders normally reside in. Flame had pushed open the doors and closed them once Serene had passed through.

"Elders?" Serene called out to them. Three bright flashes lit up the dim room and the lights kicked on once the Elders made their entrance.

"Hello Serene, and Flame." Aero said projecting his voice in the hall where it echoed along the walls.

"Why have you summoned us in such a hurry?" Questioned Flame.

"Kage should have told you that we made progress towards the mystery that surrounds the Protector's Pendents." Elegon explained sternly.

"He did, but what have you found?" Replied Flame.

"Well to sum it up, we actually had the time of day we can perform the ritual is off," Blizz explained. "I had told you it would've been a couple of weeks before anything could be done. I have now discovered that we can do it in two days from tonight." Aero finished his wife's sentence.

"So how can we help for now?" Serene asked being excited to see the true forms of the spirits that once resided in Flame and herself.

"There is a story for you two to know before we can continue." Elegon said.

"Let's say, about a century or so, a long time before this city was built. There were much smaller cities that had once expanded off the tribes' civilization a century before that as well. Now there had only been one Elder per city to look out and maintain for, along with makeshift guards to also overlook the safety and progress of everything. But for one city, the Elder had been plagued with the most strange disease that no one knew what to call it. The effects had made him lose all of his psychic power and to even age more rapidly, needless to say it was a horrific thing. The next in line took over after the Elder had passed and swore a vengeance to find out who did it. He did not listen to reason and after about a decade of his wrath on the other cities every one united to form a 'magical' device that would amplify powers of all Gardevoir line Poke'mon. You two know them as pendents you used to wear." Flame and Serene nodded.

"Now once these pendents came to be, two of the strongest and kindest Poke'mon were selected to don them in the fight against tyranny. It took one more year after that to end him and a heavy loss was taken from everyone. From that day on there were always two 'Protectors' in every city and also three Elders. This was the new structure that everyone had agreed on and it has still held up to today's time." Elegon explained the story to the Protectors.

"So what do we need to do now?" Flame asked feeling a lot more comfortable about the pendents knowing the history behind it.

"For now, you don't need to do anything, but in two days time. We will need you back here on the Palace Balcony to perform the ritual. We already are going to contact other Elders and they hopefully will be showing up with their city's Protectors." Blizz said gently.

"The main point is to help you understand everything that is going on so you aren't surprised at what you will find later in a couple of nights." Aero added on.

"Sounds fine to me, if you need anything let us know and we will be here right away." Flame said having a smile on his face.

"There is one thing Protector," Elegon said as Flame turned his head to look at him. "this will be a delicate time for us all as we can find out about more history on something so ancient. We will have to keep you safe from anything that may come up so if you don't mind we will have four of our best guards to escort you at all times during the day. At night we will have different guards but to mainly watch out where you will be sleeping at."

Flame and Serene were both kind of disappointed since they really wanted to be kept alone for a little bit of time before something major comes up again. They both bowed and understood what was asked of them.

"Then you both have a wonderful time together, the guards will be outside your house tonight. Please rest up Protectors." Aero said warmly.

"Thank you Elders." Flame said as he took Serene by her hand and left the Palace.

"You don't think we should have told them more?" Blizz whispered to Aero.

"They will find out when the time is right." Aero replied at the same tone.

Flame and Serene didn't really know what to expect for the nights to come. They both were excited to see 'Kakado' and Paldena, wondering what happened and how they really were placed inside such an object.

The light posts along the side walks of the city lit up the way very well for the walk home. There happened to be a couple of places still open, mainly housing units though and very few businesses. It was about midnight now and lights had become dimmer by the minute almost assuming there was some kind of curfew set up as Flame turned his head back to see all the lights had shut off from the businesses and houses. They had arrived back home and saw six Gallades patrolling their house and heavily armed for such an off time. They each had metal-based body armor from shoulder to feet along with a helmet that protected most of their face. If anything from what Flame thought they were ready for war but Flame wasn't sure from what. The guards let them in and closed the door after they had entered and continued their patrol.

Flame walked into his bedroom first and jumped up a little as he saw his robe, cleaner than ever. Along with another one next to it.

"Oh! I must have gotten a knew one as well!" Serene said with glee in her voice as she jumped too. She took off her robe and laid it on the bed and in a flash it disappeared.

"That's strange..." Flame was a little worried about how that just happened. He began to look over the robe and noticed the material was slightly thicker than Serene's robe. Flame's robe was encrusted with many, many emeralds into his robe that complimented the green fabric that shined in any light. The design of it definitely signified importance among anyone who saw him. The letter "P" that used to be there had changed into a much fancier design that was embedded with the highest purity of diamonds available. The robe itself gave Flame more flexibility despite its looks as he put it on and moved a little around in it.

"This is even lighter than my other one, this is just awesome!" Flame said excitedly as he drew out his mighty blades and performed a variety of slashing motions to adjust to the new robe he used to wear. He wanted to see Serene's robe as he stopped and switched his attention to her as he wanted to watch her put it on. Serene's robe had even a purer white color in the fabric than before, almost resembling an angel of some kind. The white was also accented by even more jewels than Flame's robe. Her robe was fixed with the most magnificent diamonds in such a gorgeous design that most Gardevoirs could even dream about. The shine from any light lit up any room that she could walk in and heads would turn in her direction. Serene placed the robe on herself and she twirled her body around a couple of times making the design extremely flashy. The letter "P" was also changed to match Flame's same design.

"What do you think dear?" Serene asked with joy and eagerness.

"I-I think you look absolutely beautiful in anything you wear." Flame said as he couldn't stop looking at her thinking to himself how he became so lucky to have her for the rest of his life.

"Aww!" Serene squealed as she went to kiss Flame passionately, he then wrapped his arms around her as they held each other close. Both their robes combined made them glow even brighter than them being apart. Serene was loving every second of it, Flame was just overjoyed having Serene in his arms again.

"May we have another dance before we call it a night?" Serene asked while she giggled a little bit.

"Of course my queen." Flame said as he led her outside in their backyard. Once more they continued their magical dance, it was a thing of beauty. The guards themselves that saw them dance and couldn't help but watch as their moves became highlighted by their new attire.

"Where did they get that Kage?" asked a guard.

"The Elders had me drop them off earlier, I couldn't reveal it to anyone until they saw it Zen." Kage replied with a smirk of success on his face. The Protectors finished their dance after another hour as they went into their bedroom and called it a night. Serene had fallen asleep in Flame's arms just smiling knowing that he was there tonight. Flame didn't fall asleep as easily as he wasn't too sure what to expect the next upcoming days as the thoughts continued to bog upon his mind he eventually fell asleep.

The next morning arrived on the horizon over the city. The orange glow always made Serene happy as the light crawled upon her face, through the window and woke her up after a few moments. Still in Flame's arms as they didn't move at all during the night. She went in to kiss him and he slowly woke up.

"Good morning my king." Serene said smiling at her love.

"Good morning my queen." Flame said happy, but in a more groggy tone of voice.

"Did you have a rough night?" Serene asked being a little worried.

"I kinda did, but I have had worse nights." Flame replied nonchalantly and shrugged his shoulders slightly.

Flame and Serene got out of bed and took a look outside through a window and still saw guards patrolling their home. "Guess they didn't leave yet." Serene was disappointed after she said her sentence and went into their bathroom to get ready for the day. She had shut the door behind her and left Flame there in the bedroom. Flame walked into the other room to have some breakfast, he reached into the cupboard to pull out a box of cereal. Flame's choice was Frosted Flakes as he grabbed a bowel as well. Flame turned on the TV to watch the morning news while he ate at the table waiting for his turn to get ready.

Meanwhile outside the Protector's home onlookers continued to stare at their home wondering what is going on that they need so much security. Most of the townspeople weren't informed about what is going on and only those of higher standing knew all that needed to be known about the upcoming night.

"I don't feel the most comfortable about this." Thought one of the guards at the front door.

"We aren't paid to be comfortable, we get paid to do our job. Whatever the Elders want we have to do." Replied the guard next to the other one telepathically.

They guards hardly moved at all, only to keep the circulation in their body flowing by moving their arms and legs around. Every so often, they switched out a couple of guards to replace others as their shift was done. This continued on through until night fall. Flame and Serene had been gone most of the day but not of course without an escort of four guards with them. What made Serene feel worse is that no one could get close for friendly banter or a friendly hello. Flame couldn't stop thinking about it till they went to the Elders a night before the ritual was supposed to take place. Flame had asked Serene to head back as he really wanted to speak with the Elders on his own. Serene had listened and she took three out of the four guards as an escort. The last guard was pretty friendly to Flame versing some of the other guards who took it extremely seriously. Flame and the guard known as Will arrived where the Elders normally reside and at that Will bowed his head and took his leave once Flame gave him the order to do so. Flame pushed the massive doors open; the doors themselves weighed in about one-hundred pounds of force to open each one. Flame closed to door behind him and called out to the Elders and only one appeared in the normal white flash: it was Elegon.

"What is it Protector?" Asked Elegon kindly.

"I have a couple of questions and I hope that you would be able to answer them for me." Flame said carefully as he didn't know what would happen after he starts asking.

"Very well. What is your first question?" Elegon asked as his voice echoed throughout the massive chamber as he started to walk towards Flame.

"I needed to know why there are so many guards at our house. I mean, I can't even act with the residents as I normally would have done so today." Flame said as by that time Elegon was about five meters away.

"We told you once before that it is a delicate time. But veering off-topic. How do you like the new robes?" Elegon asked with a smile.

"I do like them a lot!" Flame said smiling, but it quickly shifted back into a much more serious state. Elegon noticed it and began to speak, "If you must know Flame. We are preparing for such a sacred ritual that we CAN NOT, and I mean can not let anything happen to you during this time. Why? It's because we will need you to be focused on the task we will be asking you tomorrow night."

"What? What would I need to do?" Flame asked still not being able to grasp what Elegon had said to him.

"Follow me Flame, I will go over everything about tomorrow night." Elegon said as he turned and was leading Flame.

Flame and Elegon had arrived at the balcony where said ritual is supposed to take place. The balcony itself could fit at least fifty-plus Gardevoirs comfortably, exquisite design nonetheless to match the massive space. Elegon faced Flame having a couple of feet between them.

"We told you already that we can only perform this once a year. It's mainly cause the stars align themselves in a certain pattern that reads in a very ancient language that we spoke long before other Poke'mon showed up in this region. There is no name for it that we can call it so we settled on calling it Forgotten Arts. But what we do know is that the stars align themselves to read 'Life' and that is the key to the whole operation!" Elegon said smiling and excited to witness such a feat. Flame had been nodding as Elegon was explaining it, he continued "So Flame, I need you to take a turn and look where the moon light is shining inside the room we came from." Flame did as he said and his mouth just opened as he realized what it formed. From the moonlight's shine the only thing it was hitting was a metal platform that also had a language Flame had never seen.

"Is, is that the ancient language?" As Flame couldn't believe what he saw. For what Poke'mon see it as, the symbols itself climb out of the panel where the language was written. Elegon nodded with a smirk upon his face as the symbols moved in such a manner it almost tried to entrance Poke'mon into a state of hypnotism.

Flame shook his head and looked back at Elegon waiting for him to explain himself even more as Flame's curiosity began to peak.

"So now that part is covered. The next step which is really the hardest part. Ever heard of reanimation...Flame?" Elegon asked seriously.

"I have heard of it, but I am not sure what you mean exactly..." Flame raised an eyebrow being skeptical.

"What I mean is that we are going to try to revive the dead, but not really doing that." Elegon said trying to explain it. Flame's face could say it all that he was thinking Elegon was one of the craziest Poke'mon he ever met before.

"Let me rephrase that...We basically are going to try to move the bodies trapped inside the pendents into the real world. A form of reanimation is what I am trying to say."

"Well that sounds much better for me to understand." Flame laughed, Elegon also did after. Elegon let out a happy sigh, "So that's about all I think we have to talk about tonight." Elegon said smiling after their chat.

"I do have one more question Elegon." Flame said, Elegon gave a quick nod for Flame to ask away.

"These robes that you gave Serene and myself. Do we keep them?" Flame said being a little embarrassed. Elegon really let out a hearty laugh "Of course! We all thought it was time for a little upgrade! Your robe in particular was tricky actually. We needed to change it up for the material and I do say so myself but it should work better for you." Elegon explained.

"What is it made out of though?" Flame asked.

"It's made out of traditional gowns that all Gardevoirs wear but, the twist is that we had to double layer that and then in between added a poly-carbon material for the added thickness. Now this just isn't ordinary stuff either my friend. It really will stand up to anything actually, just a little bit of magic from our top ranking psychics had to enchant it. Believe it or not we had the entire elite guard try to see if they could do any damage to it physically. And no matter what they did, or use they couldn't break it. Our psychic division couldn't do anything to tear the material or any other kind of damage. But of course the only weakness in it is really the opening and natural elements that other Poke'mon may use. That will have to be up to you if you can either dodge it or take the pain." Elegon explained everything happily.

"Then how does Serene work overall?" Flame still needed his answers as he felt he was starting to feel bothersome to Elegon.

"Ah, her's is actually a little bit easier. As before she will be much more safer from the elements than you. It had the same concept and same tests done to it, but the difference is it completely covers her body instead of the slit in yours. And her's did take a little physical damage to it but we really couldn't fix it, so just keep that in mind if you ever need to remember in a fight." Elegon explained.

"Thank you Elegon, I don't want to bog you down with any other questions, I shall be off for the night." Flame said giving a slight bow to Elegon.

"Good night Flame, be ready for tomorrow." Elegon said smiling and waving to Flame as he left the Palace. He was once again escorted by two guards and one of them happened to have been Kage.

"So how is the Protector tonight?" Asked a happy Kage.

"I am doing well, just a little tired is all. Who might you be?" Flame answered then directed his question to the other guard.

"My name is Zen, rank specialist in both divisions." Zen said with the utmost confidence.

"Both divisions?" Flame wasn't sure how the ranks or divisions went for the City Guard.

"Yes Flame. One division is strictly fighting oriented and the other is a much more psychic base. Of course we can learn both but that is extremely hard to do with the training we are required to do. Most Gallades can specialize in one but very difficult for the other, but my friend here Zen made it!" Kage laughed.

"Your telling me! Sheesh that was extremely hard to do. I am basically less than one percent that made it in." Zen said smiling and thinking back on the memories in training he did.

"So what rank are you Kage?" Flame asked.

"I am one of the five Captains in the guard. Which isn't easy to get in there." Replied Kage.

"Really now, so who is above you?" Flame started to wake up a little as he was learning a little more about this.

"Basically you, Serene, and the Elders. And all other Captains have equal saying and fairness in the Guard." Kage continued to satisfy Flame's curiosity.

"And for me I'm kinda mid-level in the ranks, but get higher benefits since I went through both courses." Zen added on.

"That's great, say would it do me any good to go through any of your training you guys did?" A smiling Flame asked.

"Well it would do anyone good!" Kage laughed but continued "The only thing is that you would have to live without Serene for a few months and go through non-stop training. And of course before that can even be discussed the Elders would have to approve of it, in at least a two-thirds vote." Kage explained.

Flame nodded and told them "I will have to inquire about it and talk it over with the wife."

By the time Flame had gotten all the knowledge he wanted they arrived back at his humble home with two guards right in the front entrance. They both bowed and left Flame through as Kage and Zen switched spots with the two other guards to relieve them of duty. Flame walked into his home and was startled to see Blizz and Serene were talking and having a nice cup of tea. The other guards turned to look to see what Flame did and they laughed knowing that he got scared easily and continued to be on their post. Flame stepped in and closed the door behind him.

"Oh sorry dear, didn't mean to scare you like that." Serene said walking to Flame and embracing him and kissing his cheek.

"I missed you too," Flame said to Serene. "So what does Blizz need?"

"I was just going over tomorrow night and what to expect from it." Blizz answered happily.

"Oh, so was it the same thing Elegon told me?" Flame asked kinda confused about the whole situation.

"Oh no. He needed to talk with you about something way different," Blizz laughed a little as Serene was still holding onto Flame tightly. "I was telling Serene that she should expect to see other Protectors at our little meeting."

"How many are there?" Flame asked wasn't sure if he was thinking of the same number as Blizz was going to answer.

"There will be four other partners with you and Serene that would make all five cities that we keep in contact in this side of the world." Blizz explained taking sips of her tea every so often.

"Whew!" Flame said as he sighed relieved his number wasn't even close. Blizz's curiosity was getting to her. "What were you thinking?"

"I was thinking like thirty of them or something!" Flame laughed as so did Serene and Blizz.

"Well to tell you the truth there is exactly twenty pairs all over the world. Five for each major area like: North, South, East, and West. We happen to be in the western part of the Protector line." Blizz explained as she got up to get more tea. Serene finally let go of her vice grip on Flame as he could breath a little easier now.

"Yeah I am so excited that I get to meet other Protectors. For the longest time I thought we were the only other ones." Serene's excitement couldn't be hidden.

"Definitely a change of pace for sure." Flame said with a smile and a appreciative nod.

Flame told Serene about what Elegon had said with Blizz there listening to Flame; Flame's story took over thirty minutes to share as he had to put in every detail. Serene was quite fascinated by everything Flame said which only built up her own expectations for tomorrow. Blizz had bid farewell to the Protectors and wished them a good night.

After Blizz had left them alone Flame looked at Serene a certain way asking a question without communicating and Serene responded by leading Flame out side to their backyard as they continued their nightly tradition of dance.

Meanwhile where Aero was somewhere far away from the city where he normally resides in. Aero had just spoken with the last city Elders as they agreed to meet with the rest of the Protectors for tomorrow night's ritual. Aero was escorted out by their City Guard and all the residents from every city were extremely hospitable towards the Elder. Aero was recapping everything that had happen the last two nights and was quite glad with himself that everyone agreed to help. For Aero to return would take well into the night and also next morning since walking was out of the question. He took to the skies using his psychic power, but only could float about one-hundred feet and going about thirty miles an hour. Aero had to completely focus on his flight or else all would be ruined as his immense concentration must remain on him to perform such an advanced psychic move.

The next morning had rolled around; the colors of the new day shone in bright orange, yellow, and a reddish hint gently swept along the city. The inhabitants began to awake from the bright light to start their morning and continue along with another peaceful day moving on. As for the Protectors Flame and Serene were awake as well enjoying each others company as they spent another day together. They consistently held each other in a passionate embrace and kissed throughout the morning, both being in a blissful state of mind feeling the emotions each of them irradiated.

Meanwhile back at the Palace in a small room: forming a laboratory design for science experiments. Far away from the main entrance most poke'mon can enter and strictly off limits to those who aren't high ranking officials stood Blizz and Elegon standing next to each other gazing at two glass chambers. The chambers were filled with a golden color liquid along with the two pendents the Protectors used to wear being in suspended animation. There also were Gardevoir and Kirlia scientists keeping a watchful eye around the clock to make sure everything was going to be ready for tonight.

"Blizz, everything is still running at perfect settings." Said one of the female Kirlias.

"Will this be ready by tonight?" Elegon asked with his arms crossed keeping his own eyes on the pendents.

"As far as our research states it will be." A male Gardevoir responded.

"Good, Aero will be most pleased with this." Blizz said happy as she walked out of the room and left Elegon there.

"If you don't mind, I will be here monitoring the status with you as well. Have to make sure at least one Elder is here at all times." Elegon said, no one objected as they handed him the research from last night and he flipped through the pages on the clipboard memorizing the notes instantly.

Aero was flying towards his home feeling the fatigue from a non-stop flight, he arrived on the balcony that lead into his bedroom. He opened the windows to his massive bedroom: filled with stunning furniture, massive space, and plenty of rare artifacts, and paintings displaced along the room. It truly was fit for a king and queen, he soon laid eyes on Blizz that been waiting for him to return on his long journey. She ran to him and hugged him tightly and kissed him on his cheek. He laughed warmly missing the touch of his beloved mate. He told her about his exploits and how everything will go according to plan as the Elders and Protectors will arrive at 7:00PM in the main Palace Hall. He also had told her that he needed to rest until the preparations were complete, she nodded and helped him get ready for a much deserved sleep. She left their bedroom once he had fallen into his deep slumber to walk among the Palace to pass time.

Flame and Serene had donned their extravagant robes and Serene placed her best jewelery she could find which included: solid gold earrings, anklets, and bracelets. Flame didn't care for much of fancy things for himself; but more or less loved to see his wife wearing such things as it just made her shine even brighter in his eyes. The night had fallen upon the city and with a scheduled and well timed knock hit the door a couple of times Flame and Serene knew it was time to be off. They both had been ready for quite some time but knew there would be an escort for them. Flame opened the door to see Kage and Zen once again to greet the Protectors. Both of them bowed their heads and gestured them to follow their lead, Flame and Serene nodded and began their trek to the Palace. Flame decided to switch things up and carried Serene off her feet for the trip there, Serene couldn't have been more happy as she rested her head onto Flame's chest. Flame, Kage, and Zen all shared their stories about life and all was a jolly good time for them all as Serene intently listened, laughing at a joke they all threw out here and there. They arrived at the Palace as Kage and Zen threw open the doors to let them in, Flame continued to walk with Serene in his arms and went into the location where Elegon had shown him to go the night before. Flame entered into the long hall where the balcony was located at the end of it, all he saw was six figures, he couldn't make any of it out till he got in close and saw that Blizz wearing her wedding dress, Elegon wearing a much fancier black cape with its own embroidery and elegant design, and two other Elders wearing their wedding dresses along with a set of Protectors who were wearing their version of Flame and Serene's robe; their spin was a cape similar to Elegon's but the colors of red and blue. Their design was also a thing of beauty and demanded respect among any poke'mon where they came from.

"Hello everyone!" Flame said kindheartedly as he put Serene down and got herself situated.

"Hello there Protectors." The other pair of Protectors and two Elders said in unison.

"Elders, Protectors," Blizz said directing her words to the Poke'mon Flame and Serene have never met before "this is Flame and Serene.". Both Flame and Serene gave a polite bow to them.

"I am Walton, and this is my mate Cassie" Said the Elder Gardevoir and he wrapped his left arm around his mate. "This is Vincent, and Mary." Showing his hand in the direction of the other two Protectors who both were Gardevoirs, they also returned the polite bow.

"I must say it definitely different to see other Protectors." Flame said smiling and looking at the other two Protectors.

"I have to say the same," Vincent said warmly "I never thought I would see a Gallade as a Protector." Mary spoke after Vincent did.

"Well believe it or not he is the first in our city and we are glad that he is." Blizz said proudly.

"Definitely a good choice," said Walton. Just then three more flashed appeared to the side of the group and soon formed an older Gallade, and two more paired Gardevoirs.

"Ah, Nick!" Said Elegon joyfully.

"Elegon? Ha! It's been ages my friend!" said Nick the Gallade as he walked up to Elegon and gave him a firm handshake. Nick was dressed in a very respectable battle uniform; very similar to human traditions for a decorated Marine hero. It was meant for Gallades who serve in any Protector-line and retired with great honor.

"And hello to everyone else, I am Nick, former Protector." Nick said smiling at everyone. "And the two Protectors behind me are Jake, and Jasmine." as Nick introduced them they walked up and gave a polite bow to everyone. Formalities were being exchanged amongst the Poke'mon, the night was still young and only made things easier for everyone to have a good time. Another four flashes appeared in the same spot as Nick, Jake, and Jasmine were earlier. This time two Elder Gardevoirs appeared both in the same attire as Blizz, Walton, and Mary; wearing their elegant wedding dresses as for such rare meetings as these.

"Good evening to you all," Spoke the male Elder in a loud and booming voice that really could get anyone's attention as he spoke. "I trust everyone is doing good for tonight?" Everyone spoke happily to reply to the Elder.

"Now to introduce myself and my Protectors. I am Colby, with my dear wife Ingrid." Ingrid smiled while having her right arm around Colby's waist. "The Protectors here-" the Protector interrupted Colby and said "I am Bruce, and this is my lovely mate Serenity." Bruce spoke loudly as well. Bruce and Serenity were Gardevoirs dressed in an ornate cape that was encrusted with jewels and stones that shimmered in the light, mixed with highly designed armor that looked like a medieval knight; only their faces were shone in the spectacle armor. As the minutes passed everyone has firmly acquainted with each other more.

And the last set of four white flashes appeared in the room revealing one last set of Elders and the last Protectors. The Gardevoir Elders were quite old in appearance and wore most exquisite capes the hung on the floor with a pair of golden ornate crowns, no mistake in their appearance had to signify the utmost importance. The Protectors: a Gallade and Gardevoir had a mix of luxurious armor with their cape dangling above the ground dressed in knightly royalty. Them also showing magnificent appearance and demanding respect among peers.

"Hello Head Elder of the West." Elegon said calmly while lowering his head out of respect, everyone else followed suit. "I appreciate your kindness." the old Elder said chuckling to himself and spoke warmly taking a look at everyone and catching his eye was Flame and Serene.

"I do believe I have spotted someone new here?" the old Elder said as he took a couple of steps with his mate by his side; hand in hand.

"Yes, I do not recall meeting you before." Flame said as he gave another bow to the Elder.

"My name is Atlas," Said the Head Elder "my wife here is Angel" she gave a curtsy.

"A pleasure to finally meet you." Serene said softly. The Protectors walked next to their appointed Elder. They stood straight with great poise showing discipline and gave a long analyzing look to Flame and Serene. Their gaze could almost pierce into the hearts of many and would make them freeze if their eyes had met.

"Hello Flame and Serene," spoke the older Gallade. "It is a pleasure to see such young faces." finished the Gardevoir.

"Hello, what are your names?" Flame asked hesitantly.

"I am Zeke." the Gallade said "I am Kayla." spoke the gently Gardevoir the both gave a slight bow to Flame and Serene. Everyone was in good spirits as they all waiting for one last Gardevoir. Blizz had teleported out of the room to summon him. A few minutes had passed by as the ritual was close to being performed, in good hopes to learn some ancient history. The doors open softly and revealed a very well dressed pair of Gardevoirs in their wedding splendor. Their bright white dress fixed with many jewels and gems of the trade sparkled in the low-lit room, the white petticoats underneath also made a gentle shuffle as they walked closely to the Protectors and Elders showing their importance in their assigned region.

"It has been a while hasn't it Atlas?" Aero said warmly as he approached the Head Elders.

Atlas laughed to himself and jokingly said "A while? It was just two nights ago I saw you!" They both bowed to each other along with their mates in sync.

"And a good evening to the rest of you as well!" Aero said loudly but with a gently tone, Aero and Blizz gave their respected bow to everyone else. Everyone showed the same kindness and respect to Aero and Blizz.

"I assume everyone is ready for the plan for tonight's ritual?" Aero said with great seriousness, they all nodded in unison. "Very well, we will have to podiums each will make the pendents stand up and the jewel in the center will reflect off the moonlight and be enchanted by our ancient ancestors as you will soon see what I am talking about." Aero finished as Blizz began to speak gently but loud enough for everyone to hear "the next step would be to focus all of our healing power into the gems, this may take a long time so just remain focused. Then and only then should we be able to break the curse."

"That almost sounds too easy," said Vincent with a raised brow. "I would have to agree." Nick concurred with the other Gardevoir.

"We also thought the same, but we needed the extra power from everyone in the region for this to work," Elegon spoke up to assure the other guests. "we will lead the operation so follow our lead and it will be an easy ride."

"If you say so." spoke Colby still showing some concern.

Elegon clapped his hands twice as a pair of Gallades walking into the room with mantels for the necklaces, following them was a pair of Gardevoirs carrying the necklaces in the air using telekinesis and gently placed them in the stands adjacently to the mantels. The mantels were set where Elegon had shown them to place them earlier. Both pairs of Poke'mon bowed and quickly left the room.

"Now," Elegon began to speak "the time should strike within ten to twenty minutes give or take. Just be prepared to follow our lead as we will begin to sync our minds to form one."

"Everyone I will need you to form a circle around the pendents, but not blocking any of the light from hitting it." Aero said sternly with a hint of warning in his voice. They all did what Aero had asked and they were just about ready. Each pair of Protectors stood by their respected partner: Flame and Serene, Vincent and Mary, Jake and Jasmine, Bruce and Serenity, and last but not least Zeke and Kayla. The Elders themselves stood on the opposite side of the Protectors: Aero and Blizz, Elegon, Nick, Walton and Cassie, Colby and Ingrid, and finally Atlas and Angel. They were all in their own state of meditation and focus to maximize their psychic potential

The moonlight was crawling upon the room and ever so closer the light crept to the sacred objects. Soon after the light shone on the pendents and the symbols began to glow a bright white light, but it wasn't blinding.

"It will begin now." Aero said softly, not trying to startle anyone.

"Let's perform the sync." Atlas spoke. They Gardevoirs and Gallades eye's began to glow a faint blue. Their thoughts, emotions, and souls began to form a single entity within themselves. Aero began to move his hand to the objects and everyone else followed in sync with him. A faint aura left everyone's hand as floated across the room to touch the objects lifting them in the air. The symbols began to float in the air and begin to morph into the pendents, one after another they continued to follow the lead as more symbols kept appearing and following.

"Remain steadfast everyone." Aero spoke telepathically.

The blue aura around the pendents began to glow a brighter white, then back to blue, and the jewels had begun to shine their own color shifting into: red, blue, black, yellow, green, and purple. This cycle continued throughout the intense moments; the strain began to take its toll among the Poke'mon and sweat began to beat down their brow and trickled down their face. As even more moments passed bright flashes of multiple colors would be blinding to anyone looking directly with their eyes closed. The pendents were shifting across the room flying around at a great speed and shifting turns and coming to a great halt back in the moonlight. A very distinct crack was heard and caused the combined focus to snap and everyone came back to their own body; all recoiling once their spirit hit their body.

The Elders and Protectors regained their balance to notice the pendents shattered mid-air into bright colorful pieces. Instead of these shards to fall straight into the ground they held their own in the air.

"What is happening now?" asked a scared Nick. Colby, Ingrid, Atlas, Angel, Vincent, Cassie, Mary, Zeke, Kayla, Walton, Jake, Jasmine, Flame, Serene, Bruce, and Serenity were all on edge and had their guard up. Aero, Blizz, and Elegon, remained calm but was still uncertain what to expect. The colorful shards began to move and spin in a circle around the room creating two separate sets and with one final bright flash; which lasted for a good minute of blindness. When everyone regained their composure once again two Gardevoirs laid limply on the floor; one of them being the shiny version having the blue coloration instead of green. Their hands were touching one another and both barely breathing.

"Call the nurses right away!" Aero demanded with great fierceness. Flame had taken initiative and ran for the door opened it and quickly veered of the left calling for any guard to respond. Intense moments passed as Blizz, Angel, Cassie, and Kayla turned the Gardevoirs over where their backs were on the floor and their head being cradled by them that way other Elders and Protectors could see their faces. None of them could recognize their faces as everyone tried to see if they could remember them...
