Stage 3: Bargaining
Shadow and Rain sleep through the night in the grass were they we're watching the stars. Shadow started to move he sat up and looked around he seemed a bit different than before he looked around and though he had just dreamed that but saw his brother next to him, he saw his brother waking up and he looked a bit different as well. "Rain do you feel different?" asked Shadow, "Yeah a bit and you?" Rain turned his head to look at Shadow he was a bit startle with what he saw, and so Shadow was also startled, "You eyes are back" said both at the same time. They looked a bit shocked by that, "But how is it possible?" asked Shadow, "Maybe it's part of this" said Rain, "I don't like a bit this place we should keep moving on it the next stage open yet?" asked Shadow, "No I don't feel it open I guess there is something here we don't get each stage is for something but I forgot what was this one about" said Rain, "Rain this stage is about you and I bonding" said Shadow, "You and I bonding what those that have to do with anything?" asked Rain, "It has allot to do with us Rain can't you understand by including me your not doing this alone anymore" said Shadow, "It doesn't go that way everything that happens here is something in my mind actually" said Rain, "Okay I'm confused now" said Shadow, "Look this is like a choice to see what will happen to me not you, I just need to find a way to get that stage open" said Rain. They notice something not too far it was like a link for something, "What is that?" asked Shadow getting close to it, "Well it's a ..... I have no idea" said Rain looking at it, "Nothing bad happens it I touch it right?" asked Shadow, "I don't know" said Rain, "Crap I don't have my sword maybe a poke can help" Shadow touched it with his finger lightly. The light expanded making it self big and bright that Rain and Shadow had to close there eyes and turn away. When they opened there eyes they were in a castle unknown to them, "Where exactly are we?" asked Shadow. Shadow and Rain looked different now, Shadow had his old beginner ninja outfit that was a reddish color with black and Rain had one the same but in purple and white, his chains were gone. "Why do we look different and what is this castle all about?" asked Rain, "Maybe some kind of stage" said Shadow, "This place isn't Edenia that is for sure" said Rain, "No it looks like Earth Realm" said Shadow he looked around, "Shadow, Rain!" a cat guard wen't to them, "Huh?" Rain and Shadow stared at the cat "King Jules had been searching for you two need to go to him" said the cat then he left just fine, "King Jules?" asked Shadow, "Don't ask me, I don't even know what's happening" said Rain, "Okay something is up I need to see this with my eyes" said Shadow. They walked to the throne room and saw Jules there sitting he looked the same as the first time Shadow and Jules, "It is him" said Shadow. Jules saw them both, "Rain and Shadow I'm glad your here you two are here I wanted to give you a congratulations by my part, you did well with defending my realm" said Jules, "Huh?" asked Shadow, "Your welcome?" said Rain without knowing what he was talking about. Jules just smiled at them, "I know I can always count on you twins, and now you will be send into a new mission that I know only you two can do so be prepared and I wish you both the best of luck" said Jules, Rain and Shadow look at each other but then they nod at Jules, "Well now you can head to the training room to get ready" said Jules. For some reason Rain and Shadow knew were all the places in the castle were and made it to the training room, "I don't get it Rain what is going on, none of this ever happen before" said Shadow, "Yes apparently we are like in a different universe something like a "What if?"" said Rain thinking, "You mean like this is a illusion to see how our life would have been?" asked Shadow, "Exactly maybe this is part of the stage 3" said Rain, Shadow was looking around the training room there was allot of cool stuff to rain in, punching, climbing, resistance, "Wanna train for a while?" asked Shadow, "What?" Rain looked at him confused. "Well since Jules did ask us to train we should do it don't you think" said Shadow, "Shadow this is no time for playing" said Rain, "Looks like someone doesn't enjoy the work out" said Shadow crossing his arms testing Rain, "Fine I'll do the climbing rock thing nothing more" said Rain he walked near a wall that seemed to have allot of holes and he started to clime it and almost made it to the top but one of the rocks moved and Rain almost fell, "Oh this stupid wall" said Rain he keep claiming and then the walls started to shoot flames, he manage to dodge that, "What kind of assassin wall is this?!" asked Rain he grabbed another rock and it shocked him with bolts. He was really pissed by that, he accidentally push a button that said pepper-spray, "Pepper-spray well that doesn't sound so bad" said Rain when a pink bottle appeared in front of him and spray in his eyes, "AHHHHH! I was terribly wrong!" said Rain. The spray sting his eyes and well back wards, "Ahh that was painful" said Rain he manage to look at Shadow even his eyes still did hurt and he saw that Shadow was laughing, "I can hear you laughing @$$#•|€" said Rain getting up, "I'm so sorry it was just really funny" said Shadow wiping the tear off his face. Rain went to Shadow glaring at him, "Then let's see you do better" said Rain, "Oh come on Rain I was just messing with you" said Shadow, "Nope now you do it big guy" said Rain, "Fine" said Shadow he went to the wall. "But just to show you it's not that hard" Shadow grabbed one of the holes and it exploded blowing him back, "HAHAHAHAHAHA! You just got schooled brother!" said Rain laughing his @$$ off, "What $#*+ was that?!" yelled Shadow, "That dynamite" said Rain, "How the f*** do they put dynamite on the wall?" asked Shadow pissed. Rain went over to him and helped him up, "Calm down bro, I was actually hopping something like that would happen" Rain keep chuckling a bit. Shadow was still mad because of that but then the door opened, a blue hedgehog with clear blue eyes and some extra hair in his front had walked inside, Shadow recognized the other two that came inside with him, it was Sonia and Manic, Sonic's sibling. Shadow took a closer look at the other hedgehog and went to him, "Shadow?" asked Rain not knowing what happen to him. Shadow put his hand on Sonic's shoulder, "Sonic?" asked Shadow, the blue hedgehog turned around his front hair was like Sonia's but shorter and clear blue eyes witch Shadow's red ruby eyes made contact with, "What?" the hedgehog asked confused. He push Shadow's hand away, "Sonic calm down it's me Shadow" Shadow grabbed his arm not ruffly but gently, "I don't know you, let go" Sonic pulled his hand away and glared at Shadow, "How can you say you don't know me" said Shadow he grabbed both arms, Sonic was starting to get uncomfortable with Shadow, he felt a bit scared since Shadow didn't let go of his hands, "Please stop your scaring me" said Sonic trying to pull away, Rain went over to Shadow and free Sonic's arms. "I'm terribly sorry he just needs to ready since he is so exhausted" said Rain pushing Shadow away from Sonic, "Shadow let's go you don't even know who your talking to" said Rain, "Yes I do" Shadow pushed Rain away and went to Sonic, "Your name is Sonic the hedgehog, you were born with the agility of attacking with position of the wind, your speed also increases with it and your...... The most beautiful thing I ever seen" said Shadow. Sonic cheeks turned red, "How do you know?" asked Sonic, "Because I'm your lover and your husband" said Shadow he hugged Sonic. Manic and Sonia went over to them, "What is going on here?" asked Sonia, "What are you doing to our brother?" Manic asked pushing him away from Sonic, "Nothing it was just nothing come on let's just train a little" said Sonic they both started there training process. Rain grabbed Shadow arm and dragged him out the room closing the door, "What was that?" asked Rain, "That was my husband" said Shadow, "Shadow that is another version of Sonic, that Sonic you know doesn't exist here" said Rain, "No no that is my Sonic I swear for anything in my life" said Shadow, "You really do love him don't you?" asked Rain, Shadow sigh a bit and calmed down, "Yes more than anything, I know it was him but why is he so different now, what did happen to Sonic?" asked Shadow, "Excuse me are you talking about my son?" asked a female purple hedgehog with clear blue eyes and a tiara on her head and a princess dress. "Queen Aleena?" asked Rain, "Yes what is that you say about my son?" she asked worried, "Nothing we just saw something different in him that's all please excuse us your majesty" said Rain. Shadow and Rain left for the outside they were far from the castle in the tree up in a hill, Shadow was leaned against it, "Your right" said Shadow, "Huh? What do you mean Shadow?" asked Rain, "This version of Sonic is but at the same time he isn't, the true Sonic I love is not the son of Aleena but the son of Bernadette" said Shadow, "In the version Bernadette and Jules must have never meet her and had Sonic thus making Sonic the son of Jules and Aleena" said Rain, "You mean this would have happened Sonic would just a be a stranger to me?" asked Shadow, "Shadow remember this is all a illusion to get details for the next stage this stage is testing us but I don't know for what" said Rain. Shadow was a bit thoughtful for what had just happened he sat down with his back still against the tree, "I need time" said Shadow, Rain sat next to him to keep him company. They stood there for a while, "You know what always cheered me up when I was this upset?" asked Rain, "I can just imagine" said Shadow, Rain pulled out like a little gun and point it at a bird he shot instead of hitting the bird a guard bird got in the way, "AHHH! Be careful you d*$#!" yelled the bird guy, Shadow chuckled, "That did made me fell better where did you get that?" asked Shadow point at the gun, "Found it let's say I know the gun room from here, want to go look for it?" asked Rain, "Oh #€££ yes" said Shadow getting up both hedgehogs went inside the castle it was apparently sun set and they had been found the room, "Here it is" Rain opened the door and Shadow saw all the guns and other weapons, "Damn this guys have been so bored they started I make guns" said Shadow, "Yeah apparently everyone has one even up there @$$" said Rain he grabbed a gun that gabbed his attention. Shadow also found something that grabbed his attention, "What is this?" asked Shadow he checked on a little round thing and it had a little timer, "Shadow that's bomb!" yelled Rain, Shadow had accidentally activated it and the timer went from 5 minutes below. "Oh $#*+!" Shadow flip a table and hide. And so did Rain they stood there covering there ears till the explosion came and it destroy everything in the room except the table for some reason, "Haha beat that motherf***ers!" said Shadow, "I have to say for a bomb it had terrible aim" said Rain, "Who cares? I'm still surprise that only the room was destroyed" said Shadow at the minute the sealing fell, "Oh okay that's passable" said Shadow. It was night time they notice by the outside of the window, "What the #€££ was that?" was heard the echo of King Jules, "We should leave now Rain" said Shadow, "Right behind you" said Rain they both went out the window and laugh along the way, "I can't believe how much we are alike in that part" said Shadow, "Hahaha yeah I guess this place is not so bad after all" said Rain he actually felt happy for being there. Shadow on the contrary didn't like this place much, "I don't know I like the original world better" said Shadow, "Are you crazy, in this world there is more peace we are together and Edenia is probably back to it's beautiful form" said Rain, "How are you so sure Edenia is back to its original form?" asked Shadow, "Shadow think about it, this is the life we always wanted we can stay here forever and forget about our problems" said Rain, "Rain no this is not just about our problems we can't just forget what has truly happen this is nothing but a illusion it's all a lie" said Shadow, "But it doesn't have to be if we don't let it, we can just play along" said Rain, "But what about my husband, my life?" asked Shadow, "You win Sonic's heart again how hard can that be for you?" asked Rain, "That's not the point I don't want to leave a lie and I won't try" said Shadow. Rain felt disappointed that his brother didn't agree with him, "Why? Is your normal life more important to you than having one like this?" asked Rain, "Rain it's not that, what's the point of living in a place that is not even there?" asked Shadow, Rain got mad and pass by him, "Do what you want or like but I'm actually staying here" he said walking away, "Rain, Rain!" Shadow punch the tree in furry. He decided to try and keep his anger calm he went deeper in the forest but it seemed like he was in the jungle where they came from at first, he looked in the water were Rain and him sat on the rocks. He saw his reflection in the water he saw himself younger his eyes were normal but his question was if he did look normal was he truly normal? Shadow snapped his fingers and the flames appeared in his hand, with that he knew that he wasn't normal and neither wasn't he aware that the blue hedgehog was staring at him, "Excuse me" he said, Shadow for startle and looked at him, "Oh Sonic it's just you" said Shadow. Sonic walked over next to him, "Yes your are umm..... My husband?" asked Sonic, Shadow made a nervous smile, "Yeah about that Uhh I just had something was all" said Shadow blushing. Sonic giggled a bit, "Oh really I was actually starting to believe you, how do you know so much about me?" asked Sonic, "Well I do know your the strongest from your brothers, your understanding, and strong, probably everything that is hard to find in this world"said Shadow, Sonic's cheeks turned red he lowered his head making his front hair cover some of his face. Shadow gently caress his head moving the hair away seen his beautiful diamond blue eyes, "Plus I also know your a hermaphrodite" said Shadow ruining the moment, Sonic slapped his face "How the #€££ do you know that?!" yelled Sonic, "Geez Sonic relax" Shadow rubbed his cheek, "Please call me by my name Maurice" said Sonic, "Maurice?" asked Shadow, "Yes my middle name is Sonic" said Sonic, "I see then Maurice"Shadow chuckled a bit saying that name, "What's so funny?" asked Sonic, "I never knew you were named Maurice is all, it's cute" said Shadow, Sonic smiled at him, "You are one strange hedgehog Shadow, it feels like I know you" said Sonic, "Yeah, your should be heading to the castle young prince" said Shadow, "Yeah yeah yeah your starting to sound like my dad, say shall we meet tomorrow again?" asked Sonic, "Yes sooner than you think" said Shadow, Sonic was about to walk away but before he did he kissed Shadow's cheek making him blush. After Sonic left Shadow keep his hand on his cheek were Sonic had kissed him, "Why do I feel like this Sonic has kissed me many times" thought Shadow. He started to realize everything turned gray, "What's going on?" asked Shadow, "What pitty" said a dark Shadow infront of Shadow, "What's going on? who are you?" Shadow asked he turned back the way he was his white eyes returned and old outfit."Shadow the hedgehog I guess you are the only one attacked to the realm world than to the illusional one like your brother" said the Shadow, "Uhh? What are you talking about?" asked Shadow, "I have taken your brother now that he doesn't see the true things he prefers to be blinded and carry on by the illusion, "No you can't Rain isn't attached to the world he is just confused and feels more happier there" said Shadow, "It doesn'tchange anything your brother seem to have made a choice" said the shadow, "No I won't let you take my brother there must be something we can work out" said Shadow, "You wish to bargain for the freedom of your brother?" asked the shadow, "Yes I can prove to you that Rain can escape that place may be food but his real life here wasn't so bad was it?" asked Shadow
