A lot of patience and a ton of time. :P I color in Photoshop and I used mainly the gradients and airbrush to do the shading, blending and lighting. I used the normal brush for various little things like highlights. I love to make things look nice and soft and round so.. that's how I make it look that way. xD

I'll tell you what, Nanokoex, if you ever feel like it you can join my streams. :) Funny thing is the first time I ever colored was about 10 months ago. I learn fast and I don't think it's too terribly hard. Some people just need the right know-how and instructions before they can grasp art. I'm like that actually. I still struggle with plenty of things. Don't be afraid to give me a hi every now and then, I'll be sure to invite you to a stream if I make one.
