The Final Battle 1: Secrets Revealed
Shadow was shocked he felt like he was looking into a mirror, "What kind of sorcery is this?!" asked Shadow, "This is no sorcery, this is my form a form I hate to think that is the same one as yours the hedgehog who ruined and took all that was mine" said Rain in a tone of anger, "I though you said you didn't knew him" said Mephiles, "I don't understand" Shadow was very confused, "Shadow the hedgehog I am your twin brother Rain the hedgehog" said Rain, "I have no brother no one ever told me that" said Shadow, "That was because of what happened years ago" said Rain.
Rain's POV (flashback)
"We were born twins, our people were joyful that not one but two only babies were born that day. But something happened that night a invasion our parents wanted to save us so they gave us away separately hopping one day that we should meet again, instead you needed up in Lokey's castle and I was in Edenia the King and Queen accepted me as there son and raised me. I tried many times to find you Shadow looking for my brother that never came back. I was then the king of Edenia till one day it happened"
"Sir Edenia has been attacked by some strange army" said the guard, "A war? Get all the guards ready for combat there is no holding back now" said Rain. He got all his men and women ready for combat as soon as they gate opened the war started it was one of the most bloody and horrifying war that ever existed. Rain's army tried there best but was slowly loosing, "Sir Rain many of our warriors are being quickly eliminated" said the guard, "No one gives up until the last breath" said Rain. They all continue to attack Rain was passing threw some building till one collapse. While Rain looked up it had already landed on him knocking him out cold. When Rain was gaining his consciousness he was hurt in every way he was slowly dying he could see by the outside his guards had fallen. Then there Shadow was looking around with his guards that a great number survived, Rain knew that was his brother he reached out with his hand that was free. "Brother" he couldn't speak loud, Shadow didn't saw him nor heard him. He just continue to walk to a certain direction leaving, Rain closed his eyes he had died.
"Ever since that day I sweated my revenge on you, gladly my rage was big enough to grab the attention of someone who had the same wish as I did" said Rain, "I ...... Never knew, I am not the same Shadow you last saw in that vision" said Shadow, "I don't need your meaningless lies, I want you to suffer the same faith as I did" yelled Rain he stopped the floor so hard that where Mephiles and Fleetway were standing created two holes making them fall all the way down. "Mephiles! Fleetway!" Shadow shouted in the holes but there was no response, "I guess some things of this castle haven't changed" said Rain, Shadow glared at him, "What do you want from me?" asked Shadow, "Like I said I want you to suffer the same faith I did I want you to die helpless and alone!" he yelled charging at Shadow with a punch of thunder. Shadow dodge crouching down he punch Rain in the chin hard making him bit his own lip and bleed. "Your anger is unnecessary, I didn't even knew you existed" said Shadow, Rain wiped the blood away, "Well I wish I didn't knew" he grabbed Shadow by the quills and smacked him against the wall and then a window slamming him against the floor, Rain was right next to Shadow and kicked him, Shadow grabbed his fire sword and slash Rain on the stomach all the way to his chin the flames went to his eyes. Shadow got up and kicked Rain's knee making him separate his legs more and making him a bit more shorter. Shadow used his knee to his neck and part of his chest, Rain fell backwards coughing. Shadow got near him, Rain kicked Shadow on the hip shocking him with thunder. "AHHHH!" Shadow moved away he still felt a bit of electricity Rain got up, "That was a dirty trick impressively your not the only one with weapons" he said, he yanked out some claws he grabbed them both with his hands each had three sharp claws. "You think that will defeat me I have been years in battle and none have defeat me" said Shadow, "Process is irrelevant results are what matter" said Rain.
Sonic and his team were amazed to have find out that there sweet friend Amy a pink hedgehog had transformed into something else and a male red echidnas with no top but he had two long stripes making a X form and a skeleton made of metal in the middle a certain downer clothing was more of a emperor way. "Hahahahahaha I guess you now know the cruel truth that sweet girl named Amy doesn't exist she was none other than me" said Knuckles, "Who are you?" asked Sonic, "I am Knuckles the echidnas King of Outrealm and soon the new king of both Edenia and Earth Realm" said Knuckles, "I don't understand so all this time?" asked Silver he was confused, "Yes I was there all the way I was Amy, I knew your every move and way, the hanged body from the Dark Forest" said Knuckles, "Denis?" asked Scourge, "I also was the one responsible for the corruption's of the Realms, the one behind the attack in the Ancient Realm" said Knuckles, "Wait so you were the one who burned Nicole and Daren!" said Sonic, "Bingo but I needed something to cover my identity also if worked for you to believe that Shadow was actually the one behind all those incidents" said Knuckles. Sonic know knew the truth he felt so bad not to believe Shadow at first, "Why?" asked Sonic, "Because I want Shadow to suffer in every single way" said Knuckles. "Yeah and how those turning yourself into a prostitute help?" asked Scourge, "No one expects the unexpected" said Knuckles, "Well that was the oddest unexpected we ever had" said Silver, "Well I can't give credit to my self I also own you a thank you, if we wouldn't have gone to the Ice Temple I wouldn't be able to make this happen and revive a friend" said Knuckles, "What friend?" asked Sonic, "Shadow's twin brother Rain he was the true king of Edenia before Shadow took over the place. After that Rain had this only furry against Shadow that I knew he would help me I asked the Gods to revive him once more but I needed to get the cube to do so" said Knuckles, "And so you used us to make it there" said Silver, "Exactly and it worked, now my dark guards will keep a good eye on each one of you to make sure you don't escape while I go see how Shadow and his brother are getting along" said Knuckles leaving them with a guard, Sonic looked down, "We were played all this time" said Sonic, Silver felt a bit bad for Sonic this cleared so much thoughts about what happened. "I guess things aren't what we think they are" said Silver, "I should have believed Shadow" said Sonic, "Well instead of feeling bad for each other why not try and get out of this mess before your man gets killed?" asked Scourge, "And how you expect us to do that Mister clever?" asked Silver, Scourge looked over the guard and saw a key around the guards hip. "Bingo" he though, he called over the guard, "Hey buddy I think something sharp in the floor in front of me see look at that piece" said Scourge pouting at it with his leg. The guard stood next to Scourge to see what it was, Scourge quickly grabbed his neck with his feet and snapped it killing the guard, "Someone was asking for some keys?" asked Scourge grabbing them with his feet. "You are one sneaky Tarkatan" said Silver, Scourge used the keys to unchain himself then he went ahead with Silver unchaining him as well and to also Sonic to unchain him. "Okay so how do we get out of here?" asked Silver, "This is the dungeon I know a faster way out" said Sonic.
Shadow was blocking Rain's metals claws with his sword. He then slash Shadow's leg making him knell and Rain slash the side of his face. "Ahhhhh!" he yelled, "Not so tuff aren't you?" asked Rain, those words anger Shadow his flame sword activated, he went behind Rain in a second and slag his back burning it at the same time. Rain fell forewords, "My strength can out do yours as many times as possible" said Shadow, Rain got made he turned around and slash Shadow on the chest and abdominal. The pain sting Shadow, Rain grabbed him by the quills and threw him against the wall braking it making him go the other side. Shadow tried to get up as fast as possible, Rain grabbed his arm but Shadow manage to grab his as well and the other snaking his head against Rain's "AHHHHH!" he was starting to bleed for the nose and head. Shadow kicked him the chest then proceeded but punching him in the abdominal and flipped him over. Rain grabbed his leg making him fall, Rain got up and started to spin Shadow around and threw him against the pillar. Both were badly damage, Shadow cough he knelled he couldn't get up anymore "Brother please" said Shadow looking up to him, "I am no longer your brother, you broke that chain years ago" said Rain, "I may not know who you are but if your anything like me, I will assure you, that revenge doesn't fill the void" said Shadow. Rain just stayed silent he raises his claws ready for his final move, "Shadow!" yelled Sonic from the distance, Shadow and Rain looked over at Sonic. "Sonic" Shadow whispered, "I assume this must be your love mate" said Rain he walked over to Sonic, "Leave him alone" said Shadow, "You must be Rain Shadow's brother I guess" said Sonic, "Your well informed, I've seen your way to Shadow but I also see the hatred you had against him" said Rain, "What do you mean?" asked Sonic. "You know very well what I am talking about" said Rain, Sonic suddenly realized what he meant, "Your anger for him, I'm amazed your still breathing, amazed you can feel at all after all the pain he caused you" said Rain, Sonic stayed silent. "Now is you chance to take your revenge on him, isn't that what you wanted" said Rain, "You think it's the only thing I want?" Sonic went over to Shadow, "What are you waiting for then?" asked Rain. Sonic grabbed Shadow's arm twisted he kicked his face throwing him away, then he kicked his face and stepped on his chest hard, Rain chuckled as he watched Sonic attack Shadow. Sonic grabbed his steel folding fan ready to finish him off, Rain stood behind of Sonic, "Now Shadow the hedgehog die helpless and alone" he said, "Not necessarily" said Sonic, "Uh?" Sonic turned around and stabbed Rain in the chest and in the middle of his back, "He will always have me" said Sonic. Sonic removed both, Rain started to cough blood he knelled slowly until he fully collapse on the ground. Sonic looked at him then he went to Shadow and helped him up, "You save me?" asked Shadow, "Ofcourse I know you do the same for me" said Sonic he smiled under his mask, Shadow tried to stay up but he was still surprise that Sonic would do such a thing. "Well done" said Knuckles clapping at them, "Knuckles?" asked Shadow, "Long time no see Shadow" said Knuckles. "What is going on here?" asked Shadow, "Knuckles is your so called Sorceress Amy" said Sonic, "What?" asked Shadow, "Yes Shadow, I am behind all of this, everything I have been all the way there just waiting the right moment to attack you and make you pay" said Knuckles, "But why? What have I done to you?" asked Shadow, "SILENCE! You dare ask after what you did to my father that night!" yelled Knuckles, "Lokey?" asked Sonic he never did knew what had happen that night. "Yes you made my father suffer for hours his skin was all burned he was also cut several times on his burned skin, when I came my father was suffering for hours in the end I had to put him out of his misery" said Knuckles glaring at Shadow. "Your father had no honor, he never did respected me so I made him pay the night he killed me" said Shadow, "Then now I will finish his job" said Knuckles he yanked out his hammer and hit Sonic making him hit the wall, he also hit Shadow making his hit the other side of the wall. Some black vines grabbed Knuckles arms and feet, "What is this?!" Knuckles struggled to get free, "You need a time out" said Mephiles. Silver, Mephiles, Scourge, and Fleetway came to help them, "Need any help?" asked Fleetway. Fleetway and Mephiles went over to Shadow to help him "Fleetway, Mephiles you two are okay?" Shadow though they were gone, "Yeah looks like your brother send us to a different room of the castle" said Mephiles. Silver and Scourge helped Sonic, "You okay?" asked Silver, "Yeah just need to relax a bit" said Sonic, "Well you will have to do that later look!" said Scourge pointing at Knuckles who was getting free from the vines, "Enough! I shall just finish each one of you" said Knuckles his hammer divided into two. "This is going to be a long battle" said Shadow, "No backing up now" said Mephiles, Shadow's team was on the right side and Sonic's team got in the left side.
