depends on a lot of factors. How many frames, how complex is the motion and the character etc. Imer is a very simple character so I was able to do like 10-15 unique frames per hour

you know...you do some realy good animation I mean it... If i could just aford it i would love getting something from you XD cant justafy it with no job though.

Well done! I can see a heavy anime influence on your animations. Your timing could use some work. Animation has life when things move at different speeds. When he chomps down on the cookies, you could bring that down to just a one or two frames so he really CHOMPS on it :D

Yeah I can see what you mean. It's very hard to make adjustments like that though because there's no way to really TEST anything out until I get into photoshop since I draw out all the frames in Sai. I really need to find a better program to do this stuff with but it's a huge pain no matter what xD

I'm with Xercie, you should give Flash a try. It's got a much better animation workflow, once you learn the controls (the hotkeys are a little weird). You could sketch out the frames in Flash to get the timing right, then draw them in SAI where you're more comfortable.

Indeed, but you could still use Flash as a quick sketch. Instead of transferring shit over, you could just make notes of your keyframes before starting anything else. Might offer a better way to "feel" your animation

it relaly depends ... the title animations didn't take very long to do at all, probably an hour's work between the three of them. The character animations took considerably longer, and the sessions were split so I don't actually remember how long everything took en totale xD
