Mustard, chili, onions are my preferences if I'm going for a quick fix. :)
If I want to be all fancy and stuff, I toast the bun, top with a tiny amount of garlic ketchup, caramelized onions, shredded sharp cheddar, and chili with ground black pepper. :)

I like to use a chunky hot sauce in place of ketchup - I tried it with Pace Picante Sauce once. Then I made my own sauce, as the commercial stuff isn't quite up to my insane preferences!
